Then, as the article points out, the Koran in speaking of “Christian” figures never does so with any theological resonance to how the same figures are treated in Christian scriptures.
The sum of it all is at most that the Koran and traditional accepted teaching from Islam gives some “honorable mention” to Jesus, “the prophet” and some other figures in Jewish and Christian tradition, but theologically sees them as different from Judaism or Christianity as night is to day.
