Heavenly Father –
We praise You, Father, for bringing us through to the New Year.
At the beginning of 2017, may we reflect on Your blessings to our nation. The Second Chance You have given us. Your marvelous answers to prayers.
As we look forward, may we look back to our beginnings. To George Washington at Valley Forge. During those dark days, You were with him. And used Him to help forge our nation, based on liberty and freedom.
The coming year, may revival spark in God’s people. May as a nation we become what You intended us to be. May we be a blessing to the world as a conduit to spread the Good News.
We lift up President-Elect Trump and Vice President Elect Pence and their families, their staff, and the incoming Congress. Guide their hearts and minds. Fill them with Your Wisdom. Protect them from harm on all fronts. Likewise, protect all those who put themselves in harm’s way to serve others, home and abroad. Give them special grace during the New Year.

Thank You for hearing our prayers and for placing CHRISTIANS in the TRUMP Cabinet and Administration. Foil any attempt to stop these appointees from being confirmed.
LORD, expose the lies of the media, political enemies, and legislators who are against PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP and those in Congress who are scheming to disrupt his agenda and mandate to Make America Great Again. You caused a donkey to speak and gave Balaam no power to say whatever he wanted, but to speak only the message that God put in his mouth. May it be so with these rebels. Cause only truth to flow from their lips and vindicate ones who have been slandered and defamed. Bring to justice the corrupt who have compromised the safety and welfare of our nation for power and fortune.
Have mercy on us and heal our land. Heed the voices of Your people who are crying out and turning back to You. Forgive our iniquities. Revive us, renew us, and empower us to stand for righteousness and overcome evil. Come, heal our land.
