The Egyptian army has completed the renovation of a church in central Cairo that was the scene of a bomb attack that killed 27 people earlier in December, a military spokesman announced on Saturday.
President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi ordered that St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church be renovated after the attack on 11 December, which was claimed by a local ISIS affiliate, before Coptic Christians celebrate Christmas on 7 January.
"The Armed Forces Engineering Authority was able to restore the church’s destroyed areas while preserving the church's architectural heritage in 15 days to be ready to receive Christians for Christmas," read a military statement.

Notice there is no description if they are ‘diverse’ or ‘tolerant’, etc.
They just got the job done.
And probably they are not diverse or tolerant.

I,unlike some,cannot see *all* moslems as being murderous barbarians.In fact,I have trouble seeing even a majority of them to be barbarians.But I do believe that a very noticeable percentage of them are *exactly* that.

I see them as being no different then nazis. Most nazis probably couldn’t care less about a persons religion, much less kill them but they still embraced the philosophy.
Several years ago, when I was working for an IBM customer in Cairo, I toured this church. It is/was beautiful, I hope it was properly restored.
Unfortunately, the "muslims" are only kept from open persecution of minorities by strong-men like el-Sisi, Assad and Sadam. Barring that, it's tribalism and jihad.

There was an outbreak of sectarian, anti-Chinese, rioting in a town in Indonesia last year. It was whipped up by the usual suspects and in the course of which several Buddhist temples were ransacked.
The next day hundreds of local Muslims including women in headscarves were seen helping clean up and repair the temples. No one told them to, no appeal went out, these people just showed up to help make amends.
There are good people there unfortunately their voices are drowned out by the nutters and fanatics.
Let’s just hope that they guard the church so that there isn’t a repeat of the attack on their Christmas worship.
