There is an odd psychological phenomenon I’m noting more and more among liberals and leftists. They so abhor and despise Christianity and spiritual Christians that seeing the symbols of Christianity actually causes them discomfort.

I call it “the vampire effect”. The fictional Count Dracula, in many incarnations in the movies always drew back and cringed at the sight of crosses, would not tread on holy ground, abhorred The Bible, and could be physically harmed with Holy Water.

Because leftists and liberals philosophically reject Christianity, as an article of their secular faith, it may become downright painful for them in the future. Which creates an interesting opportunity, for when liberals and leftists decide to harass Christians.

Well said.

The word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

... The fictional Count Dracula...

You do realize that there was a real-life Dracula.

His given name was Vladislov Tepes (sometimes Tepesh in English). He was also known as "Vlad the Impaler". He was the inspiration for the fictional accounts

When I was a kid, I read the passage below over and over, and just couldn't imagine anyone being offended by Jesus. But now I see these morons and get what He meant by it:

Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” —Matthew 11:4-4
