A Guerneville man accused of toppling statues, breaking windows and ransacking the offices of Cardinal Newman High School stood before a Sonoma County judge Wednesday and declared himself to be Satan.
Andrew Faulkner, 23, was arrested Monday night inside the north Santa Rosa Catholic school where authorities believe he went on a vandalism rampage after school hours, causing about $100,000 in damage.
At his arraignment on charges of burglary, vandalism and being under the influence of methamphetamine, Faulkner waved to Judge Arthur Wick, said hi and concluded his brief appearance with a message.
By the way, Im Satan, said Faulkner, who sported dyed pink hair and a black goatee.
Thank you, sir, Wick said as bailiffs led Faulkner away.
Moments before Faulkner uttered the words, his appointed lawyer declared doubt about his mental competence. Faulkner had been speaking to her in the courtroom before the judge took bench, telling her, Big parenthesis. Im Satan. Big capital letters. I want everyone to know.

Some drugs are bad M’kay.
He was not on Advil or Tylenol when he trashed this school.
He would have fit right in at the Oakland Ghost Ship
No doubt one of Hillary’s voters.

(Makes perfect logical sense to them to turn left away from the place they’re looking for. They tell me so.)
He’s not bad enough to be Satan. Maybe Keith Olberman.
No. He was on methamphetamine. Which is, if not the worse illicit substance known to man, then a close runner up.
That was Satan, he was damned glad to meet you...
He claimed to be satan rather than God. FAIL
