Cardinal Burke: "No, I Am Not Saying that Pope Francis is in Heresy."
Catholic World Report ^ | 12/19/16 | CWR Staff

In an interview with CWR, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke discusses the current controversy over "Amoris Laetitia' and the questions he submitted with three other bishops to Pope Francis.

Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke was made a bishop by Pope John Paul II in 1994. In 2010 he was named a cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI and soon thereafter become Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura. In 2014 Pope Francis removed Cardinal Burke from his position as Prefect and named him chaplain to the Order of Malta. During the Extraordinary Synod of Bishops, held in Rome in October 2014, Cardinal Burke strongly criticized the mid-term report (Relatio post disceptationem), stating that it "lacks a solid foundation in the Sacred Scriptures and the Magisterium" and that it "gives the impression of inventing a totally new ... revolutionary, teaching on marriage and the family." He added that he thought a statement of clarification from Pope Francis "is long overdue."

More recently, in September of this year, Cardinal Burke and three other cardinals—Carlo Caffarra, Walter Brandmüller and Joachim Meisner—sent a request for clarification to Pope Francis regarding sections of chapter 8 of the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia. The letter stated, in part, that "we the undersigned, but also many Bishops and Priests, have received numerous requests from the faithful of various social strata on the correct interpretation to give to Chapter VIII of the Exhortation" and asked the Holy Father "as supreme Teacher of the faith, called by the Risen One to confirm his brothers in the faith, to resolve the uncertainties and bring clarity..."

In a November 15, 2016 interview with Edward Pentin of National Catholic Register, Cardinal Burke explained that the "five critical points" in the dubia submitted to Pope Francis "have to do with......

What the current Pope has been saying is contrary to everything I was taught during 12 years of Catholic school *and*,more recently, everything John Paul II said.

"No, I Am Not Saying that Pope Francis is in Heresy."

That's OK, I'll say it:

"Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the anti-pope and faker, is in Heresy."

It struck me that there was something going on behind the scenes when Bennedict stood down.

How often does a Pope resign? Never in my lifetime. And the fact that it was a heretical Marxist who replaced him only further proves that there were very powerful forces who wanted this to happen.

Someone “got to” Bennedict.

Benedict was blackmailed. Google the VaticanLeaks and the investigative reports from the Italian media.

The cover story was that Benedict's health was "too frail to continue his duties as pope."

And as we have seen, for almost 4 years, Benedict has been in good health, even to this day.

Pope John Paul II carried on his duties despite enormous health challenges.

No, the “blackmail” was so bad that BXVI sent three gifts to Bergoglio for his birthday.

You are correct without even realizing it.

That gross event (which was meant to elevate Jorge to the Christ figure, being gifted by the magi with three gifts) was sycophantic, servile, and fawning - and unbefitting.

Was it Benedict's idea, or Jorge's? It certainly wasn't a private gift giving, was it? It was international headlines. The whole thing reeked of a PR stunt, orchestrated to feed the ego and reputation of Francis, which it was.

The Italian investigative reports in their media (and UK media) thought so. So did the VaticanLeaks sources.

It is a web - the whole thing. Father Malachi Martin was prophetic when he predicted this stench 20 years ago.

You’re really stretching it. The more probable explanation is Benedict was totally on board.

There are plenty of investigative reports and sources out there who are consistent in their narrative.

Father Malachi Martin predicted all of this 2 decades ago.
