TOPICS: Prayer
KEYWORDS: military; pray; prayer
Father, we come boldly to Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus to receive mercy for our failures and find Your amazing grace to help in time of need. (coming just at the right moment.) Blessing and glory and majesty and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might belong to our God forever and ever (Rev. 7:12)
We sense our Nation balancing between restoration and destruction, but we know that the Government rests on Jesus' shoulders and that continuous prayer for our Nation has reached Your ears. Words to bless You fail for the work of the Spirit of Truth. Thank You for the courageous heroes who have come forward as warriors of Yours to strike fierce blows against the evil that has been hiding in plain sight. The veil is being removed from blinded eyes. This can only be done by You, Sir! We are humbled at Your greatness.
We have cried to You for wisdom and insight for our leaders, but You have brought leadership from elsewhere. Thank You for doing things in Your perfect way. You have given us a candidate who is requesting prayer for wisdom. This one is truly crying out for insight, and lifting up his voice for understanding; seeking skillful and godly wisdom as one would silver and, we trust, searching for her as one would hidden treasures. We stand in agreement with him that this good labor will bring understanding of the reverent fear of the LORD [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] and discovering the knowledge of God. (Prov. 2:3-5)
You guard the paths of justice and preserve the ways of Your saints. We trust You will use whatever means are necessary to accomplish this. We thank You for Your gift of discretion to watch over Your people; for understanding and discernment to guard us and keep us from the way of evil and the evil man; from the man who speaks perverse things; from those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness; who find joy in doing evil and delight in the perversity of evil, whose paths are crooked, and who are devious in their ways.
We believe we receive the promise in vss. 21 and 22 that the upright [those who are in right standing with God] will live in the land and those [of integrity] who are blameless [in Gods sight] will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land and the treacherous shall be [forcibly] uprooted and removed from it. God, bless America we pray.
Cradle each member of our Armed Forces and their families under the shelter of Your wings. Sanctify them spirit, soul and body. Faithful are You and You will bring it to pass.
Amen.

1 CHRONICLES 29:11
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. We adore You as the One Who is over all things.
FATHER GOD,
Your Name is GREAT. Everything is Yours and You rule over all things.
We stand in confidence that You will deliver America out of the hands of crooks, swindlers, and the debased. Give us Godly leaders who fear Your name. We put our trust in You.
Bless and protect our men and women in uniform as well as their families. Dispatch Your mighty angels to guard them.
Forgive us for our sins against You, LORD. Revive us. Heal our land.
In JESUS Name we pray. Amen.

Praying your anointed prayer with you, Dear Hiskid.
The big prayer for years on FR has been that “Secrets will be revealed.”
God has answered this in such an amazing supernatural way!

Leading with Love
November 3, 2016
I prefer to appeal to you on the basis of love.
Philemon 9
In his book Spiritual Leadership, J. Oswald Sanders explores the qualities and the importance of tact and diplomacy. Combining these two words, Sanders says, the idea emerges of skill in reconciling opposing viewpoints without giving offense and without compromising principle.
During Pauls imprisonment in Rome, he became the spiritual mentor and close friend of a runaway slave named Onesimus, whose owner was Philemon. When Paul wrote to Philemon, a leader of the church in Colossae, asking him to receive Onesimus as a brother in Christ, he exemplified tact and diplomacy. Although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do, yet I prefer to appeal to you on the basis of love. . . . [Onesimus] is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord (Philem. 89, 16).
Paul, a respected leader of the early church, often gave clear commands to the followers of Jesus. In this case, though, he appealed to Philemon on the basis of equality, friendship, and love. I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do would not seem forced but would be voluntary (v. 14).
In all our relationships, may we seek to preserve harmony and principle in the spirit of love.
Father in heaven, in all our relationships, give us grace and wisdom to be wise leaders, parents, and friends.
Leaders who serve will serve as good leaders.
Pauls appeal of love to Philemon was rooted in his spiritual parenthood. In other letters, Paul spoke of himself as a father to those he brought to Christ (1 Tim. 1:2; 2 Tim. 1:2; Titus 1:4; Gal. 4:19). In this personal letter, Paul noted that Onesimus had become his spiritual son (v. 10). Then at the end of his letter, to reinforce his appeal, Paul reminded Philemon that he too was his spiritual son (v. 19). Paul used his fatherly authority to bring about reconciliation. It was the appeal of a fathers love and an appeal to family love for the reconciliation of two spiritual siblings.
