That very same point came up in Bible study today!
We will have to pray that after the election, the Fire grows, the church grows, and that more people learn that this is a 6000 year old war.
If we shine enough Light into the darkness, hopefully people will learn what they are missing. Hopefully they will hunger for some of the joy that we know.

Holy, Almighty God,
We lift praise and honor to you Lord. You are our God, our portion and our strength. We praise your holiness, we praise your righteousness, O God.
Lord, we lift up our nation to you today. Father, we confess that our nation has not honored and followed you. We confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word and deed and we humbly ask your forgiveness Lord, for ourselves and for our nation.
We submit to your Almighty Will, Father. We pray that if it be your will, that this nation will be spared from the election of Mrs. Clinton. We pray for Mr. Trump and Gov. Pence, and humbly ask that they will be elected by significant majority so that our nation can begin to be cleansed and healed, Lord, healed from the divisiveness that has so infected America. We pray for the salvation of all of our elected officials who have not received Jesus Christ as Savior.
Thank you Lord, for loving us, thank you for sending Jesus to redeem us. In His name, Amen.

Whoever lives under the shelter of the Most High will remain in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the LORD, "You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust."
He is the one who will rescue you from hunters' traps and from deadly plagues.
