Sooner or later every Catholic will have to answer the $5 million question as to whether they serve Rome or Christ.

Wheat from Chaff indeed.

i do believe in the Nicene Creed and that the Catholic Church was founded by Jesus for our salvation.

As Jesus spent time with sinners, so too is the Catholic Church filled with sinners including any leadership that substitutes the ways of world for the teaching of Jesus and the Catholic Church.

We stand firm with strong moral values that we were taught and try to overcome our sins by loving God and one another.

Iy doesn’t make the Church stronger by leaving, it makes us weaker. Jesus has promised to be with us until the end of time.

There are also many good saints in the Catholic church and we need to Love God and accept His Sacraments and His Body and Blood on our journey to salvation.

God’s Peace be with you.

i believe we (Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Orthodox....) must always be diligent and remind our clergy about
James 3:1
and
Matthew 7:15,
and parallel/similar teachings in both Testaments

the clergy, to poach on a famous hot dog commercial, is held to a Higher standard!

"I am saddened that the church seemed to leave me."

Oh, the old, "I didn't leave the Church, the Church left me" line, Gotcha.

Wonder if when Christ was taken to be beaten and crucified the Apostles who were no where to be found said, "We didn't leave Christ, Christ left us"

Our Lady of Good Success said this was coming in the mid-twentith century, Our Lady at Fatima said it was coming but could be mitigated or avoided if Russia were consecrated to Mary, and now that it's all happening the solution is to make catchy sounding excuses for abandoning the Church when she needs us the most?

You and I have two entirely different ideas of what the command, "Stand Fast" means.

Wrong. Obama barely carried the “Catholic vote”in 2013. Illegals from Mexico gave him a narrow percentage win over Morman (yes Morman Romney) Romney. Regular Mass-attending WHITE Catholics gave Romney almost 60% of the Catholic vote. Cafeteria Catholics who go to Mass twice a year and illegals who have no idea what social or moral positions democrats take vote for them every 4 years. It’s called voting for Santa Clause and not paying any attention to the issues because an Obama phone and welfare check comes first.
