I left the church years ago and really was thinking of going back.
Oh well...no matter.

It ONLY matters when the current pope make pronouncements and declarations in keeping with his progressive Marxist dogma. A liberal is a liberal uber alles.

Those of us Catholics that are traditional, weather what ever the devil throws at us...
We have been given Francis the talking pope, I believe, to separate those of us Catholics that are believers and those that are liberal thinkers...
I have been raised in the Catholic Religion, went to Catholic School, and have never doubted the Religion because God doesn’t want us to do that...we believe in Him and His teachings, Jesus and the Holy Spirit...and in order to walk with God again someday, we believe in the traditional style, the only teachings in my opinion...
Francis the talking pope is a false prophet...period...

Thanks. I still believe and attend other churches. Was raised Catholic and attended Catholic schools. Those schools made college (many degrees) easy.
I am saddened that the church seemed to leave me.

I’m curious: What is it that makes you say “the church left you”?

Wife was talking to a fellow Church member the other day - person had been attending a series of classes on the Old and New Testaments given at the Church by the priest - a few weeks ago in one of the meetings somehow the matter of abortion came up, and one of the long-time Church members, a Eucharistic minister no less, remarked that she was voting for Hillary Clinton because she was pro-life - other members of the group immediately jumped in saying that Hillary was pro-choice but the instigator kept insisting heatedly that Clinton was pro-life and finally got up and stormed out - she hasn’t returned since - people hear what they want to hear, but it doesn’t help when the leaders of the faith turn a blind eye to politicians who don’t abide with what the church teaches and fail to make their disagreement with the politicians’ policies clear to their congregation....

Herself pro-life?
How thunderingly, mind-crushingly stupid does one have to be to believe that?

It is incumbent upon faithful Catholics, particularly those in the pro-life and pro-family movements, to inform our spiritual leaders and Catholic institutions that their repeated, reckless and continuing scandals, in which they providecontrary to their own explicit prohibitionsawards, platforms and honors to the enemies of the Faith, only serve to betray, undermine and trivialize our principles, which is, to say, Catholic moral teaching about the sanctity of life and the integrity of marriage. This is not acceptable. They need to be reminded that they serve Christ, not Caesar. Our bishops are successors to the Apostles, not courtiers to Henry VIII. Oh, please. This is complete and utter nonsense. These "spiritual leaders" and "Catholic institutions" don't need to be reminded of anything. They are not operating behind some kind of veil of ignorance here. These f#%&ers (and I use this term deliberately) are minions of Satan whose sole purpose is to undermine Catholic doctrine and moral teachings.
It's very telling that it took a nominally Presbyterian New York City real estate tycoon to expose the whole lot of them as a wretched hive of scum and villainy -- dropping a turd in their punch bowl in the process.

Practicing Catholics know what we believe - it hasn’t changed. Don’t need anyone to make me “feel better” - prayer does that. Stay faithful.

Much of this gang had already exposed themselves long before the NY real-estate tycoon entered the arena.

That’s stupidity dense enough to bend light.
