I'm on the school board and I've had 2 or 3 occasions (you have to be politically careful when you shoot your bullets) to voice my opinion of the GSA ... the gay straight alliance club (they snuck it in in July 2012 ... I was elected in November)

I use the same logic ... the two are diametrically opposed ... there can be NO alliance.

Obama’s percentage of the Catholic vote may have been slightly higher than his percentage of the overall vote, but that was because Hispanics voted heavily for him. He didn’t do as well with non-Hispanic Catholics, or with Catholics who attend Mass regularly. Not to deny there are some liberal Catholics who always vote Democrat.

As a Catholic, I wish I could be more welcoming to the Muslims, but my common sense tells me to be cautious, based on a very realistic/bad impression that I have of them from their past behavior.
