Vatican Radio confirms Pope’s leaked letter on Amoris Laetitia as authentic

On Friday LifeSiteNews published leaked documents showing for the first time the Pope’s own opinion on the matter of Holy Communion for divorced and remarried Catholics who do not qualify for annulment. The letter set off an explosion of comments since many held that the Pope did not agree with the thesis of Cardinal Walter Kasper which was that in certain cases Holy Communion could be administered for such couples. Many comments suggested that the letter could not be authentic.

Now, however, Vatican Radio has itself reported the letter as authentic, including specifically in its most controversial aspects – that of allowing communion to divorced and remarried Catholics in some cases and that there is “no other interpretation” other than that.

Says the Vatican Radio report: “Pope Francis has written a letter to the bishops of the Buenos Aires region of Argentina, praising them for their document which spells out ways in which priests should apply the teachings of his apostolic exhortation ‘Amoris Laetitia’.”

The Vatican Radio report relates, as LifeSite reported Friday, that in the letter Pope Francis responded “to a document by the bishops entitled ‘Basic criteria for the application of chapter 8 of ‘Amoris Laetitia.’”

“That chapter focuses on the need to support and integrate divorcees into the life of the Church, specifying that ‘in certain cases, this can include the help of the sacraments,’” says the Vatican Radio report. “Expressing his appreciation for the ‘pastoral charity’ contained in the bishops’ document, Pope Francis insists 'there are no other interpretations' of the apostolic exhortation which he wrote at the conclusion of the two synods on the family in 2014 and 2015.”

Did Jesus say “Do this in memory of me” or “do this if you’ve never sinned” ?

Stupid question.

Did St Paul not say, ““Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself. That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died” (1 Cor. 11:27-30).”

This is why he is the last Pope! This is all part of the apostasy that comes first! (http://www.usccb.org/bible/2thessalonians/2)

So what do you do when the Pope is no longer Catholic?

Try listening to another Pope: http://blog.adw.org/

Why go to Charles when you can go to PAUL and get teaching straight from Jesus Christ to Gentiles?

With NO filter?

"Popes" who are not Catholic automatically lose their membership in the Church by divine law. A non-Catholic can not possibly be the head of a church that he doesn't even belong to.

Francis is a false pope. Once others in the hierarchy come to the same judgment, they can finally make the official declaration which merely states what has already taken place.

The problem is: which Modernist in the Vatican will actually do this? So far all I've heard from the hierarchy is that Francis isn't clear or that what he has said is just his "opinion", blah blah blah.

Because Catholics think they need a human Priest to tell them what the Bible says. So I am suggesting one who has been avoiding the Babylonian contamination in his latest messages.

Good point. I do like some of Charles’ pieces.

Well, let not your heart be troubled! Things will start changing more rapidly as the restrainer is taken away and lawlessness abounds. The Revelation 12:1-2 sign in the heavens is a little more than a year away.

Francis would love for any faith to be able to receive communion in a Catholic Church. Muslims, Buddist, Protestants, Hindus, he could care less. After all he’s said time and again “we are all brothers in Christ” and has said time and again that rules in the Catholic Church are “too rigid” and only mean conservatives want to follow them.
