If only Bishop Sorondo would go the one step further: i.e., he would tell the muslims that their "faith" is a false one and there is only one Faith.

There is no need or concern in interpreting false faiths. It's fruitless.

The Qur’an is only about 15% of Islam. The Sura and Hadith are the two major components that govern every good Moslem’s daily life. These two other books are the core, they instruct followers on how to do everything from which foot to step on the toilet first to how to commit jihad and beat your wife.

Mohammad is the core of Islam. He is the perfect man, to be emulated by all Muslims.

And who was Mo? He was a desert bandit who made his living by robbing caravans and looting towns. He was a slave owner, a rapist, a murderer, a pedophile. And all Muslims are supposed to strive to be like him.

I have a Koran. It was a gift to my husband from one of the Saudi contractors.
ARAMCO only allowed Korans to be given as gifts. This was established to head off the usual bribery of American engineers (gas and petroleum). My husband was a mechanical engineer but worked in the gas industry.
Before 1980 or so ARAMCO had been BURNING OFF the gas that came up with the petroleum. The KSA looked like a giant birthday cake from the sky.
Someone, finally, with a brain decided to collect/"capture" the gas that came up with the petroleum, liquefy it, bottle it and sell it.

I still have the Koran. It is a knock-off of the Bible, mostly the Old Testament.

Mary is "Miriam"; and
Joseph is "Yusef."
Each page is split with the Arabic on the left side of the page and the corresponding words in English on that same page but on the right side.

The Arabs only started having an alphabet just after the Koran was produced to make sure that the words of Allah stayed true. The cover is in green, an important color for Muslims.
From Google: Supposedly green was Mohammed's favorite color. The Islamic prophet is said to have worn a green cloak and turban, and his writings are full of references to the color. A passage from the Quran describes paradise as a place where people "will wear green garments of fine silk."

The Hindus didn't get an alphabet until around the first century. They MIGHT HAVE had one since they were such an old culture but they eschewed it because they thought the alphabet would denigrate God's words.
But, they caved because so many other cultures and countries already had an alphabet. At least, that's what I learned.
