Actually, the Rapture is when Jesus comes in the air and we are gathered into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. At the end of the Great Tribulation Jesus AND we will come in the clouds.
Personally I expect the rapture to happen before the end of 2017. Been following Bible prophecy for over 30 years, since I was born again. Of course I may be wrong, but the scope has certainly narrowed, specifically in the last 2 or 3 years. Pieces are in place and the final rehearsal is over, so to speak.

There is a reason we are told to look for his appearing .
If you are looking for his return you won’t be living like the rest of the world .I ask you what kind of hope is there in thinking you will see God’s wrath poured out on the unbelieving world ?
We have to be out of the way so he can turn his attention back to Israel.
1 Thess 1: 9&10. We ARE delivered from the wrath to come, according to Paul.
Has to be soon because the delusion around the world is getting stronger and stronger .
“Come up hither!” and the two witnesses arose to the astonishment of the world and then were taken to heaven(from revelation) I have often wondered that the rest of the church(the dead first then those who are alive next) will rise with them.

But this doesn't happen BEFORE the "tribulation." It happens AFTER the opening of the first six seals (Revelation 5 and 6), AFTER the anti-christ persecutes the saints with great tribulation (Matthew 24:29, see parallels in Mark 13 and Luke 21).
I hate sloppy exegesis. Calling all of Daniel's 70th week "the tribulation" is unbiblical. The Bible lays out a different timeline: man of sin is revealed, [great] *tribulation* of the saints, christ returns for his own and to pour *wrath*. Jesus and his resurrected saints conquer the anti-christ and the beast at end of this 7 year period (see Revelation 19) and sets up his millennial kingdom (Revelation 20).
This is what is called the "post tribulation (corrected terminology), pre-wrath" rapture of the saints. This understanding is a best fit to the relevant scriptures and laid out in this video: After the Tribulation.

When the prophets wrote during old and new testament times, their world was the middle-east and the surrounding areas. That was the known world. We were considered the isles of the sea.
Rev 20:
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
How many more Christians have to be beheaded in that area before realize this is what John was talking about?
The elements are in turmoil, wars and rumors of wars, Christians being beheaded, murder and mayhem. Rape gangs in Europe. Christians unable to buy or sell if they don’t support the homosexuals.
What the evening news shows you is not even a spec of what is actually happening in the world right now. They don’t want you to be disgusted and turning the TV off. So they tease you with a few tidbits to keep in you interested.
It hasn’t reached it’s climax yet, but it’s not too far off. The violence will continue to spread west until it consumes the U.S. as well.
If you’re smart, you’ll put together a years supply of food.

The whole world is about to be consumed by war. If you don’t see the signs and recognize world events for what they are, you will not survive.
Your founding serial adulterer prophet (Joseph Smith) missed reading and understanding The Revelation. Hence you, as a devout follower of that adulterer false prophet spittle out foolishness like ‘you’re in the Tribulation right now’. Mormonism does not lead people to Truth. You do not know The Truth.
Before them. Before the Tribulation with the lawless one revealed even begins. The two witnesses (one a gentile the other a Jew) will be raptured at mid-trib. We can surmise this because the ‘strong delusion’ is already at work in that day.
It is you who are in error regarding Daniel’s seventieth week. THAT week is called ‘the time of Jacob’s Trouble. It intensifies after the abomination that makes desolate. But the entire seven years are the Tribulation. The last 3 1/2 years are The Great Tribulation. During the first half of the seven years, it is the Jews who will be evangelizing the entire World. The entire seven years will be an increasing degree of God’s wrath. At first, it will seem to be the wrath of men, of the man of sin. But when the man of sin commits the abomination that makes desolate, mid-tribulation, THEN the wrath intensifies to such a degree that it is clearly the wrath of God, and men will curse God for it, rather than turn to Him for salvation.
At the beginning of Chapter six in The Revelation, who is the rider on the white horse with a bow but no arrows in his hand? This is the beginning of Jesus opening the seals, before the bowls. Where do you suppose the strong delusion starts which is signal of the hour of testing? Did Jesus tell the Philadelphia Church that they will be kept from even the hour of testing? Did Paul tell the Thessalonians (1 Thess 1:10) that they are already delivered from the wrath to come?
