Prayers are very important. Some do not understand people who are secluded for prayers.

The way things are going these days I wish they would pray a little harder.

The sisters leave the cloister only for emergencies, such as medical appointments. When they do venture out, the sisters wear gray so as not to draw too much attention to themselves.

Admirable as that is, they need to draw a little attention to themselves if they're going to attract new vocations.

Once had an AF chaplain tell me that prayer is the most under-utilized natural resource we have.

Some craft Mass cards and rosaries, the sales of which support the convent.

Does anyone know an address to connect with this?

**There’s even a subtle recruitment flier hanging just inside the front door of the chapel. It encourages visitors to ask themselves three questions: Do you love Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament? Do you realize the power of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament? Is Jesus calling you to say “yes” to a life of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament?**

How would young women these days answer these questions?

Very true, John. Nice to see your response [and you!]. Merry Christmas!

This Christmas I spent three hours at our local adoration chapel.

Interestingly, there were more people there than you would think would be there.

What many also do not understand, is that being with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, provides an immense peacefulness; even when one has difficulty being fully concentrated on prayer, etc., they’re still being helped and helping others at the same time too.

God be with the Pink Sisters always and everyday! Thank you, Sisters, thank you!
