A Catholic priest swiped collection-plate donations to pay for drug-fueled, kinky sex romps with a heavily muscled S&M "master," a new lawsuit charges.
Outraged parishioners claim that the Rev. Peter Miqueli has stolen at least $1 million since 2003 while leading churches on Roosevelt Island and in The Bronx, where he's currently pastor of St. Frances de Chantal in Throggs Neck.

The parishioners tried to take the problem to the archdiocese. The archdiocese did nothing. Now the parishioners have been forced to hire an attorney and sue the archdiocese.
There’s a homosexual cabal inside the church that corrupting it. Real Catholics are intimidated into silence with the mantra of forgiveness tolerance etc. It’s b.s.
And the Catholic church can’t figure out why their members are leaving in droves.

It’s more proof that homosexuals are corrupt everywhere
Well, if this was widely known among the parish, the plate should have been empty.
There are other ways to do Christ's work, other places the money could have gone, and other churches to attend mass at.
Thanks for posting. The POS should be someone’s slave in prison.
There are many things Jesus declared we should do but celibacy was not one of them.
I’m just saying if the Catholic Church allowed straight married men into the priesthood like Jesus did . . .
And what evidence is there beyond St. Peter’s mother-in-law of the apostles actively juggling family life and the priesthood? I don’t recall Paul telling Timothy or Titus “be sure to say Hi to the missus and the kids for me.”
Exactly.
There is nothing in the Bible precluding priests from being married men. Precisely the opposite is true.
Compulsory clerical celibacy was not instituted by the Church until well into the Middle Ages and for reasons which have nothing to do with anything that can be found in the Bible.
“A scandalous lawsuit accuses a Bronx priest of looting more than $1 million from a pair of city parishes — then spending the cash on a long-running S&M romance with a muscle-bound boyfriend.
The Rev. Peter Miqueli reportedly paid $1,000 per rough sex session with his hunky lover, who demanded the priest address him as ‘Master’ — and drink his urine, the lawsuit said.”
How about the fact that there is no Christian priesthood at all in the bible. There's your core problem.
How did the NY Post report Barney Frank allowing his “partner” to run a gay whorehouse from his apartment?
The fact is they didn’t give a damn, because Barney was being consistent with his “values”, or lack thereof.
Growing by leaps and bounds in the South. Global, it increased by 57% between 1980 and 2012. The Northeast seems to be the exception where numbers are dwindling. Perhaps they're moving to the South?
But back to this homosexual parading as a priest . . . where the heck is the bishop of this Diocese???!!!! Kick this guy out and prosecute immediately!!!
Married Priests solves NOTHING.
They don’t “become gay” due to lack of access to women!
Would you be happier with;
-dating priests,
-philandering priests,
-divorced priests?
There is a Jewish priesthood in the Bible. And there is the beginnings of a Christian clergy in the New Testament. In point of fact, Paul describes the qualities of the types of individuals who should serve in this capacity:
“A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach.”
1 Timothy 3:2
No one claims that the Church’s policy of compulsory clerical celibacy causes homosexuality or pedophilia.
The Church instituted the policy in the Middle Ages largely to confront corruption in the clergy, specifically nepotism and simony.
The Church could not have known, centuries later, that by creating an all male institution where relations with the opposite sex were expressly prohibited, that they would have ended up creating an atmosphere very appealing and attractive to homosexuals and a very large homosexual subculture within the Church which exists to this day.
What is it about the Catholic Church's discipline of celibacy that causes everyone to flip out? Abstinence and chastity are such mind blowers to the modern world.
Your assertion that the discipline of celibacy was a purely pragmatic measure designed to reduce corruption in the Middle Ages is utterly false. There is a long and deep theological foundation for it and historically, the Spanish Council of Elvira (295-302) is the first recorded case of actual enactment (as oppsed to its theological underpinnings which go back much further).
