While Pope Francis left earlier in the week for Africa, a pair of his shoes headed to Paris.
The papal shoes -- black Oxfords with a laminated sign above them adorning Francis' signature and the words "Laudato Si'" -- joined thousands of other sneakers, slippers and pumps in a symbolic march at the Place de la Republique in Paris.

To the Proletariat!, woops, I mean to the Earf! Glory! (and jobs too...ahh screw it, justice gimmedat u-got but it's not nice to disturb the Earf in the very least justus YOU gimme wut U-got to justus).
Donated(?) shoes, who's alleged prior owners could not be troubled with attending the organized 'march', symbolically marching to on Paris to demand social justice/climate justice???
No personal offense intended towards the Chinese-looking women in the below image, who if are from China, are from the most polluted industrialized nation, and so perhaps have some gripe about unfettered greed in for-profit business ventures, but these people are well-scripted harebrains.
Who is writing these scripts, I do wonder. They rarely seem to get to the part of just how poorer countries will be supplied jobs, while the Earf-first(!) is put under glass display casing -- do not touch-do not disturb.
