He will openly condone the One World Government also tomorrow with the support of the UN’s Agenda 21, Sustainable Development plan.

Nice try with the word count.

But to not offend muslims or jews, he never mentioned Jesus Christ.

his pope said in July that it is a ‘dangerous’ temptation to believe that one can have a personal, direct, immediate relationship with Jesus outside of the Catholic church. Unbelievable.

I did find that hard to believe from this pope who high-fived evangelicals he invited to see him. And upon checking, what i see him quoted as saying was that,

"Christians are not made in a laboratory. A Christian is part of a people who comes from afar. The Christian belongs to a people called the Church and this Church is what makes him or her Christian, on the day of Baptism, and then in the course of catechesis, and so on," t

Which is simply V2, which states

• LUMEN GENTIUM: "..there are many who honor Sacred Scripture, taking it as a norm of belief and a pattern of life, and who show a sincere zeal. They lovingly believe in God the Father Almighty and in Christ, the Son of God and Saviour. (Cf. Jn. 16:13) They are consecrated by baptism, in which they are united with Christ. They also recognize and accept other sacraments within their own Churches or ecclesiastical [Protestant] communities…"

They also share with us in prayer and other spiritual benefits. Likewise we can say that in some real way they are joined with us in the Holy Spirit, for to them too He gives His gifts and graces whereby He is operative among them with His sanctifying power. Some indeed He has strengthened to the extent of the shedding of their blood." — LUMEN GENTIUM: 16.

The fantasy that being sprinkled with water as an infant (or older) effects regeneration a fundamental error, but in the light of the popes ecumenism it is basically impossible that he holds that one cannot have a personal, direct, immediate relationship with Jesus outside of the Catholic church, unless he meant indirectly, under the fallacy that the church of Rome gave us Christ and the Bible.

As this pope seems far more committed to relational issues than doctrinal, and with social issues being his main evangelistic ideology, the purpose behind his statement here can hardly be thought to be to get people to submit to the the Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus of Rome, but instead it is driven by his priority on community, in which he is very ecumenical minded. To the grief of conservative traditional and cultic RCs.

Would love to see your hopes fulfilled, but fear you (and the rest of us) will be disappointed.

You’re right. The UN might be a stage for support for Christians.

Ok—I need to know. Did he really not mention Jesus Christ, not even once? Really?

There were references to protecting "human life at every state of development." Yes, the Pope opposes abortion. But that weak statement could mean anything to anyone. To me it could mean from conception to natural death; to someone else it can mean birth until life has no dignity. It depends on your perspective and your definition of when life begins and ends.

Lets be serious, there's no way a person can speak as if a human fetus is not alive. The Pope took that as a given that someone who is not reading falsely.

Second your other points are more a reflection of How the Pope chose to emulate Paul speaking to the men of Athens (Acts 17:23-31) in Scripture. Since he knows they are pagans, he was addressing them in general terms and on common grounds. He chose to use the Pauline Areopagus dialogue as the model for his address.

Paul never mentioned Jesus Christ in that address, nor did he give them a blessing.

Actually, I think that since the Pope did not mention Christ its more a reflection that he did not believe he was addressing Christians but pagans.

That is why his speech resembles Paul’s address to Athenian pagans, (acts 17:23-31).

Because he knows hes not speaking to those who could even fathom who Christ is.

This Pope is a Matthew 16:23 Pope imo.

"Who turning, said to Peter: Go behind me, Satan, thou art a scandal unto me: because thou savourest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men."

Chilling Our Blood.

Get serious? If there's no way any person can speak that way; why have over 30 million abortions been performed this year? http://www.worldometers.info/abortions/

Pope Francis is VERY Roman Catholic.

You all “own” this problem. Fix it. But you can’t.

Much like the American voter.

Of course they know who Christ is, and the Pope's reticence to speak His Holy Name has been duly noted.

Pope Francis is VERY Roman Catholic.

To the contrary, and would not be surprised if he is eventually declared to be an anti-pope.

There were references to protecting "human life at every state of development."

How do murderers on death row then become the sole focus of his subsequent speech? What "state of development" have they achieved that takes precedence over millions of unborn children?
