Communications watchdog Roskomnadzor has blocked access to the Russian version of PornHub and 10 other porn sites in a move that will complicate Russians' access to online porn.
The watchdog published an online statement Monday announcing a ban on 11 websites ruled to contain unlawful pornographic content based on a Krasnodar region's court ruling.
Тhe list of banned websites includes the Russian-language version of PornHub — one of the Internet's biggest free porn portals — the Lenta.ru news website reported, citing a copy of the ruling.

Do any of us here really want the government to have the power to determine what internet sites we are allowed to visit? I imagine Freerepublic would be one of the first to be blocked if our government had this power. This is a dreadful idea for any country.

The last ‘discussion’ I got in with one, he invited me to browse his history so I did going back several years. roughly 80% of his posts were on Russia. The rest had him almost exclusively on the left side of a given issue.

Kidding aside, I want someone to show me where this mythical ‘Free Market” is actually located outside of a theory book in an economics class. Because at no point in mankind’s history was it ever found, much less participated in.
