What made non-Muslims convert to Islam, leading to the creation of the Islamic world? Early historical sources—both Muslim and non-Muslim—make clear that the Islamic empire was forged by the sword; that people embraced Islam, not so much out of sincere faith, but for a myriad of reasons—from converting in order to enjoy the boons of being on the “winning team” to converting in order to evade the dooms of being on the “losing team.”
Modern day Muslims and other apologists—primarily in academia, government, and mainstream media—reject this idea. They argue that the non-Muslims who embraced Islam did so from sheer conviction; that the ancestors of today’s 1.5 billion Muslims all converted to Islam due to its intrinsic appeal; that the modern day coercion and persecution committed by the Islamic State and other organizations is an aberration.
Of course, as mentioned, the primary texts of history are full of anecdotes demonstrating the opposite. However, because ours is an increasingly ahistorical society, in this essay I endeavor to show that sheer common sense alone validates what history records, namely, that the Islamic world and its populace was forged through violent coercion. To do so, I will use Egypt—one of the most important Muslim majority nations and my ancestral homeland—as a paradigm. I will show how a historic fact that Islam’s apologists habitually boast of—that there are still millions of Christians in Egypt (approximately 10% of the population)—is not proof of Islam’s tolerance but rather its intolerance...

True lasting peace only comes from one place: the Prince of Peace (Jesus Christ). It is His peace that keeps people from seeking the temporal fleeting peace that brings destruction. Can Christians have peace with Islam? The Bible shows that those who are willing to fight for eternal peace through faith, hope, love, and truth, will find it. But those who seek temporal peace in this world, without fighting, will only find destruction. The problem is that you need faith to fight...

The standard reasons people converted:
* lower taxes, not having to pay standard taxes AND Jizya
* convert so your son isn’t taken as a Jannisary (mostly Ottoman empire)
* to marry a woman you loved who was Muslim
* to get priority on inheritance of an estate, where the Muslim gets it before Christian relatives
* kidnapped, raped, children are classified as Muslim, but she gets more rights to the children if she then converts
* to automatically get divorced from a Christian spouse
* to gain the right to own weapons for self defense, tired of being preyed upon by criminals
* for the promotional opportunities, because Shariah law prevented non-Muslims from holding most positions of authority
* to get the right to multiple wives
* you’re tired of the humiliation, where the dhimmi status forces you off the road when Muslims come by, forces you to pay taxes with humiliating blows, denial of fancier clothes, limits on movement and requiring permission for many things
No enslavement, rape, torture and beheadings had nothing to do with it.
“Forged” was a good word choice for that headline.

What’s so sad about that is that at this point in history, and at any point in history since about 1750, the west could have wiped Islam from the face of the earth it if wanted to, if it had the same mindset as the Muslims have, of conquest, savagery and conversion. Our morality and humanity are our biggest disadvantages in this fight. At some point, the savages will gain the upper hand, and then we will all go the way of Egypt’s Copts. Unless we get a backbone first.

I think the muzzies in the west, especially in Europe, are in for a big surprise once the natives truly get fed up. They seem to forget that Europe brought us 2 world wars, along with the associated genocide and death camps. Same goes for muzzies in the Russia and China spheres of influence. There recent, and past history makes today's islamic barbarians look like pikers when it comes to killing on a truly massive scale.
These people who convert from Christianty were Christians in name only.
