I’m not sure what you are trying to say but Nero was a piker compared to ISIS, Sodom was destroyed and the inexorable march to the end time by definition will get worse. Can you say it again so it is understandable or in some context?

I’m saying that we are sitting in relative peace at our keyboards, you aren’t in the Middle East, are you?

I am an ex-Catholic. While I cannot change my skin color or gender, I sure can change my beliefs, or do you deny the existence of Free Will?

You can practice Hinduism if you please, but if you were validly baptized, you were baptized a Catholic....you can choose to follow Christ, Luther, Wesley, Calvin,Henry VIII, Smythe...whoever....but you are still, and always be a Catholic.

A documented gay marriage in ancient Rome.

No, it is not: “Nero missed her so greatly after her death that on learning of a woman who resembled her he at first sent for her and kept her; but later he caused a boy p137of the freedmen, whom he used to call Sporus, to be castrated, since he, too, resembled Sabina, 3 and he used him in every way like a wife. In due time, though already “married” to Pythagoras, a freedman, he formally “married” Sporus, and assigned the boy a regular dowry according to contract; and the Romans as well as others publicly celebrated their wedding.”

The point being that it was an unnatural and anti-cultural event.

Also all marriages were open marriages for men who were expected to have sex with both other men and women.

Also they apparently started passing laws against gay marriage in later centuries after the Pagans were routed. Why would you pass a law about something if it’s a non-issue already?

It doesn’t sound like it was actually made legal but was probably some ceremony that they concocted themselves. Homosexuals in America have been marrying each other for some years, even in very liberal “churches” but it was not recognized by the law.

Homosexuals can use this article and the confused way that it is written to state that homosexual marriage was accepted in the ancient world. They can use this as they have used the fake science that says that gays were born that way.

The Romans would have no other choice but to celebrate Nero’s “marriage.

I follow Christ, not the pope.

I was thinking of that very comparison. Homosexuals in the U.S. have been able to hold wedding ceremonies for a long time. They just haven’t been able to force others to recognize this as “marriage.”
