Is There a Spirit of Abortion in the Church?

As is necessary when addressing an ultra-sensitive issue, I will make some qualifications on the front end:

God is, without question, and I will declare without apology, passionately interested in blessing His children. It is fully appropriate to give a measure of attention to the wondrous process of discovery of God's abundant life, overwhelming benefits and blessings.

That being said, I now must move on to offering some analysis on a hidden crises.

The Spirit of Abortion ... In the Church?

As a prophetic messenger, a primary driving force of my daily life is to reveal and help destroy any barriers to kingdom advancement and the revelation of the cross and resurrection of Christ. In fact, we all must have our eyes wide open to this disturbing movement that is overtaking the church and stand in unity against its advance.

Now, of course, the thought of the spirit of abortion in the church is potentially offensive and certainly provocative. It's a bold statement to say the least.

It's important at this point to understand our discussion isn't about all of those other Christians or all of those other churches that just don't get it. We must look inward. Yes, we have to boldly and humbly ask ourselves the question, "God, are the same spirits that drive the abortion movement also driving me?"

Check out this quote that highlights the issue quite well. Notice how this person affirms killing a threat to other "good" endeavors:

"Abortion is not the lesser of two evils. Abortion is pro-family, prolife, moral, and good. For many millions of women, abortion has meant getting on with their lives and continuing to meet their responsibilities to themselves, their families, and society". —Patricia W. Lunnenborg, Abortion: A Positive Decision

Just evil that we must avoid.

“””Abortion is not the lesser of two evils.”

Even some FReepers fall for this line.

Evil is evil. There is no such thing as lesser evil.

I think it's important to remember you have human desire here moreso than the focus this article gives to a “spirit”.

Abortion is the end result of a sexual issue.....abortion is simply the “choice” to get rid of the evidence no matter what the reason. You cannot have an abortion apart from sex, for the most part.

Society tends to focus on eradicating ‘the result’ of a poor decision then to address the core reasons abortion has become the issue it has.

For the most part abortion is used by married woman as a form of birth control. Single woman because for whatever reasons simply don't want a baby, but want the freedom to indulge in sexual relations. In almost every case it's simply a matter of not wanting the natural result of a sexual encounter.

What is interesting is very few men have ever opposed abortion, for it certainly frees them from the responsibility of providing for a child. If there is a spirit operating...it's definitely in the government and people who passed the laws permitting abortion...who were the same people who pushed for the sexual revolution.

That's an odd assertion ... and one which I find completely at odds with reality.

“For the most part abortion is used by married woman as a form of birth control. “

You are forgetting a few reasons!!

Is also used by men to cover up statutory rape/incest. In the case of married women, or even a married man to hide an affair.

Is used by sex traffic industry on sex slaves when they become pregnant, although I would hope the church is not involved in that.

Probably other reasons but it’s late and have exceeded the limits of my coffee.

You're wrong. Men are consistently more likely to be pro-life than women. For example:

Well I live in the East so you can understand then I’m right when it comes to this area. Also remove older men from the equation....and you’ll find the younger men rise to the top of being for abortion...or they lie.
