Aventine, Caelian, Capitoline, Esquiline, Palatine, Quirinal, and Viminal Hills, plus the Pincian, Janiculum and Vatican Hills.

Nope, that happened in France and what I read was written about England. I was doing genealogy research on my late husband’s ancestors and that was part of the history. The pictures were awful. How can any real Christian group do that? They should have been thankful people wanted to read the Bible.

"I trust her more than other posters on here. She knows how to get to the truth."LOL sure. From blogs.

"The pictures were awful. How can any real Christian group do that?"Based on your criterion, every Protestant group of the period fails the "real Christian" test as well.

She backs up her statements with the Bible. She is an amazing lady. We are blessed to have posters like her.

"She backs up her statements with the Bible."As Protestantism demonstrates, the Bible can be twisted and de-contextualized to make any wacky idea seem plausible to those who really want to believe anything except the truth.

It’s right there in the Bible when the first Mass was celebrated.
Acts 2:42 - from the Church’s inception, apostolic tradition included celebrating the Eucharist (the “breaking of the bread”) to fulfill Jesus’ command “do this in remembrance of me.”
Acts 20:28 - Paul charges the Church elders to “feed” the Church of the Lord, that is, with the flesh and blood of Christ.

As Protestantism the Roman Catholic cult demonstrates, the Bible can be twisted and de-contextualized to make any wacky idea seem plausible to those who really want to believe anything except the truth.There, fixed it for you...

Either way, it proves that simply quoting the Bible isn’t enough, doesn’t it?

If you read my correspondence to the monomaniacal poster of anti-Catholicism, you'll see that I enjoy healthy debate, in politics and in religion. Speak your mind, then shake hands and maintain the relationship, I say.
FR I compare to a Gentleman's Club, of course for ladies as well as the gents, that is geared toward Conservatives, which means that most are Christians as well. In other words, there is a kinship here in the FR Club, an espirit de corps, which binds us against the culture of Progressive humanistic Liberalism.
So topics emerge which reveal fault lines among members. Think of the debates ahead in this crowded field of GOP candidates! Same goes for religion. Catholic/Protestant debate has raged for 498 years, so of course FR Club members will engage in some good hearty debate on that score, too.
But the fabric of good fellowship is tested when a member relentlessly posts articles attacking the beliefs on one denomination only. I'm not lobbying for a silencing; I am attempting to appeal to one's better sense of propriety.
Let us debate, but let us be cognizant of the fellowship and values that bring us to the FR Club in the first place. Let us refrain from targeting one segment of the membership with an onslaught of posts that single them out for attack.

Thank you for the compliment. I have appreciated your work here for a long time. I know you are a fellow Catholic, but I believe you understand my point that this really transcends denominations (even non-denominational ones...). You are a wonderful example of one who can defend our faith, yet you do not make it your preoccupation to undermine Protestantism's fundamental disagreements with the Catholic Church.
May we all heed the inspiration of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday coming shortly!

Act_15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
God thru the scriptures warns us of you people...
2Co_2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
That's your group isn't it??? Yep, it sure is...
1Co 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
1Co_3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
And you guys are of Peter, right??? Yep, you're that bunch...

The Vatican is located on the other side of the Tiber. It is not one of the seven hills of Rome.It is Rome that is referenced in the seven hills...The Vatican sets within the boundaries of the city on seven hills...

As I said before Aventine, Caelian, Capitoline, Esquiline, Palatine, Quirinal, and Viminal Hills, plus the Pincian, Janiculum and Vatican Hills. Even during the age persecution under Imperial Rome, Rome encompassed more than seven hills, and the Vatican does NOT sit within the boundary of the original seven hills. You would have to go back very, very far to find a time when Rome consisted of seven hill, if it ever actually did at all.
