Hi! I just wanted to let you know you're still in prayer. My Mom was a cancer survivor. She started getting sick when I was six months old. She went all over for help and was getting sicker, until 6 more months, when she was sent as an emergency patient to a cancer hospital. They didn't think she was going to live through the night. She had pneumonia in both lungs: they gave her a tracheotomy that night. Over the next 3-1/2 months, she got blasted with radiation from her chin to her waist, and chemotherapy, nitrogen mustard similar to the gas used in the First World War. She was sent home for one last- and early- Christmas, as she was not expected to be alive by then. God works miracles. She made it, the tumor arrested, and the docs were never able to figure out why. Her lungs began to develop scar tissue, pulmonary fibrosis, which continued for over 50 years! Yup! She not only survived, she ended up holding a job for 20 of those years, and even outlived my a Dad. It's a process: you get used to it, and there are more meds and treatments now than back then. Maybe it sounds crazy now, but it becomes a part of everyday life- a life that can be long and productive as was my Mom's, even with all the other things she had going on. She loved to her mid- seventies, and had a pacemaker, and breast tumor along the way! The pulmonary fibrosis, again, will become a routine part of your everyday life. I wanted you to know about my Mom, because that's what she would do. She praised and thanked God every day, throughout the day the whole time i knew her- she would even use her break time for prayer. She and my Dad were something else! Please try not to be afraid. Trust in God. Sometimes in life, our crosses begin to be part of our shoulder, and we learn how to adapt to them, and keep on going! God will be with you, every step of the way! 😇

Thank you for the prayers and inspirational story! I know there is good in this experience that has yet to be seen. I love your joyful heart and spirit. Your Freeper handle is wonderful evidence of that. God bless you!
