Cathedral dean says he wants to make marchers 'stop and think'
Cologne Cathedral will turn off its lights on Monday evening in protest against an anti-Islamic march in the German city.
A group called Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West (Pegida) is organising the march, which is the latest in a series of demonstrations in Germany. A recent march in Dresden attracted an estimated 17,000 people.
Fr Norbert Feldhoff, dean of Cologne Cathedral, told Reuters: “Pegida is made up of an astonishingly broad mix of people, ranging from those in the middle of society to racists and the extreme Right wing.

I support the marchers and I think God does too.
Perhaps the Dean of the cathedral can read some of those dusty books in his library and relearn the hard lessons that his ancestors learned at Tours, Constantinople, Malta, Lepanto, Grenada, and Vienna. Islamic culture is simply not compatible with Western values. He really is oblivious to the fact that the Muslims would turn his Cathedral into a mosque as soon as they could.

One of the most magnificent cathedrals of the east was turned into a mosque, then a museum, and now they are trying to make it back into a mosque(Hagia Sophia).

The Dean is probably nervous due to the Muslims building a mosque in Cologne bigger and taller than his historical grand cathedral, on purpose naturally to dwarf his place of worship?
I have a late friend who saw the Cologne Cathedral from about eye-level from his B-24. They were bombing the railway station complex right across the street. (Literally.) He always took pride that the Cathedral was left standing.
Maybe he shouldn’t have.

Marchers should carry signs saying “Lights all over Europe are dimming because of the immigrant invasion”.
Silly,but so is the dimming of the lights.

The Dean should be looking for a new job as he’ll be unemployed once the turbanos convert his cathedral to a mosque.

He, and a great many bishops, priests, and pastors, had better decide where they stand.
