Actually, what you said is that he has never apologized in the past for any of his (unofficial) heretical pronouncements.
I was and am keeping my eyes on the strawberries, and as you were replying to my post, that is relevant. He has a fresh start as Pope. Whatever one thinks of other statements, dragging heresy into a discussion of strawberries is a red herring, or perhaps, not a red berry.
