I agree; great school. But they don’t have professional strawberries, do they?

I’d go for Christendom or Belmont Abbey before Ave Maria.

I ignore most everything this pope says.

But as far as scripture: Who raised Jesus Christ? Who admonished the wine stewards to “do what He says”?

Maybe the pope licks the whipped cream off the strawberries? Nah. I think he’s gay.

Another weird pronouncement by a pope, another long thread of "what he really meant to say is ..."

You, a catholic, ignore the "vicar" of Christ, the man who holds the chair of Peter as catholics claim.....now that's rich.

Joseph and Mary raised Jesus. You remember Joseph don't you?

You take one statement from Mary and you've built a whole new theology around it so that whatever Mary says to do Jesus does it and somehow she is now the queen of Heaven, ruling at the highest summit, and who according to the pope, the man you chose to ignore as a catholic, is the "teacher of theology"!

. You twist stuff more than Jay Carney!

I'm going to bed now and will laugh myself to sleep thinking of this twisted logic you've displayed tonight. Have a good one! It's still funny!

I feel sorry for you. You’re in my prayers.

While I appreciate your prayers. I do apologize for being over the top on this.

However, I do not apologize for calling out the hypocrisy of your position and your inability to acknowledge it, or to defend it, which you can't.

I guess all of that talk about catholics being subject to the pontiff is just that....talk. Sounds like you guys get to make "your own personal interpretation of scripture."

Pretty soon you'll be getting a cereal box with your picture on it!

There’s no hypocrisy in my position whatsoever. The One, Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church has had 265 popes, starting with St. Peter, prior to Francis.

How old is your “church”?

One only needs to compare Francis to his predecessors to know he’s a loose cannon.

Popes are only infallible when they speak ex-cathedra on matters of faith and morals. Humble Jorge has not done so. He even has banished the traditional chair, so his socialist vomit is worthless except for those socialists who lap it up.

However, what does make me comfortable in my religion is that protestants, of all stripes, instead of attacking each other, focus all their vitriol on the Catholic Church. Whether he be their “friend” (Francis) or their enemy (St Pius V), the prots hate popes.

>>And you shall be hated by all men for my name’ s sake. But he that shall endure unto the end, he shall be saved. Mark13:13<<

You ignore this pope because you think he's a loose canon. Didn't think "good" catholics could do this as y'all have to be subject to the pope. Besides it has been shown how the pope has changed catholic teaching over the years so I'd ignore him also.

My church started with Christ.

Your church started on 14AD??

You still haven’t squared away what the pope said about Mary being the teacher of theology instead of the Holy Spirit. So instead you dodge the topic.....again.

I don’t need to square it away. He’s wrong. I told you before: he’s a loose cannon.

Keeping you in my prayers for your conversion.

You ignorance of the Catholic religion is understandable.

Popes can change discipline but they cannot change dogma nor doctrine; something Luther and Calvin felt quite comfortable doing.

So if he’s wrong on this how do we know he’s right on other topics.....or maybe it’s just your own personal interpretation of scripture!

You say don’t need to square it away with scripture. Spoken like a true catholic. The reason you can’t is because you can’t square false teaching with Truth.

If declaring Mary is the teacher of theology v the Holy Spirit isn’t changing doctrine or dogmas not sure what is unless of course y’all redefined those words like you have with worship.
