Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Many Years ago, my brother-in-law and his bride spent their honeymoon in Hawaii. They were a rather pampered couple, and spent a week in a five star hotel in Waikiki.

During their stay, a little green gecko ran up the wall of their bedroom. Horrified, the bride called room service, demanding that the offending creature be hunted down and killed. She was further appalled by the hotel employee's attitude, as he calmly explained that Hawaiians don't kill geckos, as they eat mosquitoes, are harmless benign creatures, and are considered good luck!

This Passage from Proverbs illustrates that even the tiniest members of God's Creation have a purpose. The little gecko may be small enough to pick up with one hand, yet it finds it's way into a five star hotel! Or even a King's palace.
