Swift action needed from Pope Francis on child sex abuse
The Seattle Times ^ | 4/4/2014 | Mary Dispenza

A week ago, Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, head of the Italian Episcopal Conference, defended the Vatican’s policy of not requiring clergy to report child sex abuse to the authorities. “The Vatican requires national laws to be respected, and we know that there is no such duty (to report abuse) under Italian law,” he told reporters.

It was a disappointment because Pope Francis had just appointed a commission to advise him on sex-abuse policy. Bagnasco’s comments sounded like business as usual.

False doctrine breeds corruption.

Oh? If so, then why are there flawed/sinful individuals in every Christian community in existence?

Your thesis is overly narrow. Original sin breeds corruption, and that is a large part of the story of the Bible (and of the human race, for that matter). That is why Our Lord Jesus Christ had to come into the world.

Absolutely. That's why there is absolutely NO corruption of any kind in the following Christian churches, all of which follow the One True Christian Doctrine:

Do you want to see the list again?

Well, here it is:

Okay, fine, you win, here is the list of uncorrupt churches for the third time:

Most the priest sex abuse cases happened over 30 years ago.
The Catholic Church has DONE SOMETHING about it. To hell with these anti-Catholic bigots that just want to stir the pot.

No, actually your article posts are more than reporting; they contain a repeated editorial: “False doctrine breeds corruption.”

Your threads indicate an unwillingness to argue for or defend your editorial position.

So, I think the term “Hit and Run Posting” applies.

My beliefs are consistent with Scripture. If you want to believe a lot of nonsense fabricated by "celibate" popes and priests, go ahead. I believe that worshiping Mary and other humans whom you call saints is inconsistent with Scripture.

The Catholic church is composed of modern-day Pharisees who have more regard for their legalistic house of cards than for the words of Christ Himself - Luke 4:8.

To me Catholicism is no different than Mormonism - mumbojumbo created by self-serving miscreants and believed by people who prefer easy acceptance of church tradition over rigorous study of God's Word.

Finally, anyone who believes that following the meaningless dictums of priests will get them into Heaven is due for a rude awakening. Teaching people to follow the church instead of following Christ directly is the unpardonable sin (blaspheming the Holy Spirit - Matthew 12:31-32 Luke 12:10 Mark 3:29) and is the greatest evil of which I can conceive as it consigns people to hell.

I have posted these beliefs in the past and feel no need to include them every time I post an article about perverted Catholic priests, teachers or administrators. Frankly, if you don't like it, too bad. I feel no need to debate the issue, only to expose it.

Thanks very much for your reply; I appreciate your participation.

What corruption has been bred by the false doctrine of Calvinist (double) Predestination?

And what corruption is the progeny of the false doctrine of sola scriptura?
