Christians are leaving the Middle East in an exodus approaching biblical proportions, a former Lebanese president said in a recent talk.
Amine Gemayel, a Maronite Catholic, referred to church burnings, physical assaults, and killings in Egypt, a bloody-minded reign of terror by ultra-radical Islamists in Syria, and an onslaught of murder in Iraq, The Arab Daily News reported.
Gemayel called for a Syrian power-sharing agreement that preserves core state institutions while also dismantling the pervasive machinery of repression.

ultra-radical Islamists
Oh, stop being such an islamophobe. We ALL know there is NO SUCH THING as a radical islamist, let alone an ULTRA radical one! After all, this is the Religion of Peace (tm) !
With videos surfacing of Christians being shot execution style and having their throats slit, moving from the neighborhood might be a good idea.
God works in mysterious ways we are told. Maybe getting his children who will listen to him out before the instant glass surfacing begins.
Can’t blame them for leaving. Let’s just hope they’re not exporting socialism, or whatever screwed up governance they’ve become accustomed to, to wherever they’re going.
Yes it is a good idea. I do think God wants us to use the brains He gave us. No where does it say we have to wait till they come to cut our throats, and no where does it say we can not resist.
Not surprised. The only real country that Christians COULD be safe in is the Holy Land or Israel.
I hope they get out alive and go somewhere safe. If the muzzies want to kill each other then stand back and let them go at it. It’s seems that is what they do best.
I honestly think the U.S. is the “Babylon” of Revelation, but God’s command would apply to anybody experiencing the Antichrist religion:
Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
If you are Christian, you are between two power groups who don't want you there. To the Jews, you are next to a Muslim. To the Muslims, you are worse than a Jew because you are not Muslim.
There is no safe places from Christians in the Holy Land
.....Unless you belong to an order that maintains the Christian shrines. Remember even in Israel they LOVE the $$$$ from the Christian pilgrims.
Yet better to be in Israel than to be in the Muslim countries even if they have its ups and downs.
Lebanon was a beautiful country until the Muslims ruined it.
The people I know were locals. Phoenicians who were Christian, and not connected to the tourist trade.
Plus with the Israelis, having talked to a Christian from the Holy Land selling olive wood products at one time at my church, he said that all the stuff has to be stamped with the word “Jerusalem” or the handmade product, beautiful as they are do not leave.
