Ping!
Both increased their households to between 4 to 6 children each.
Last I heard they were very happy.
The big news on contraception here in DC is the anti-shooting deer folks wanting to give the deer that are overrunning the city contraception or capture and put condoms on the bucks (I’m not kidding). this is instead of culling the herd in Rock Creek Park by sharpshooters. Meanwhile Fairfax is against hunting the deer that are feeding on all of the cities gardens by either rifle, shotgun or bow. They want to “shoot the deer with tranquilizers and give them monthly birth control pills.
These evangelicals better be careful, they might actually end up Catholic.
What?
I know evangelicals and I also know no one who is uneasy about birth control.
As a side note, what does ‘evangelical’ even mean.
Pass me the popcorn. This is going to cause a lot of their churches to split—again!
Some will agree, some will sit in the pews and want to continue to use contraception.
**These evangelicals better be careful, they might actually end up Catholic.**
LOL! They probably will.
Among the reports findings-- all of which refer to women of reproductive age (15-44):* 25% describe themselves as Catholic, 25% as evangelical, and 22% as mainline Protestant
* 30% of Catholic women attend Mass weekly, while 50% of evangelicals and 24% of mainline Protestants worship weekly
* 46% of Catholic women say religion is very important to their daily lives, compared to 77% of evangelicals and 44% of mainline Protestants
* 98% of Catholic women-- and 99% of all women-- have at one time used artificial contraception.
* 68% of Catholic women use highly effective methods: sterilization (32%, including 24% using female sterilization,) the pill or another hormonal method (31%) and the IUD (5%).
* Only 3% of married Catholic women who do not want to become pregnant rely on natural family planning; 72% use highly effective methods, including 40% who rely on sterilization.
As long as they don’t vote pro-abortion, like Catholics.
I was just gonna post....
Didn’t we just have this conversation a few days ago?
And the points I made on that thread are still relevant to this one:
When the majority of Catholics stop voting for and supporting pro-abortion candidates; then maybe us “proddies” will listen to their complaints about contraception.
Just like Catholics.
Very good points, also illegals being made legal
There is a growing trend in America towards elevating the lives of animals over those of humans. Their "rights" are suddenly more important than those of humans. I happened to run into someone today whom I have not seen in quite some time. Her conversations, in the past, had always focused on her cat and the close bond they shared. Recalling this, I naturally inquired about the cat. She choked back tears and said he had died at the end of summer. She was so upset over it, that she went for counseling. She then commented that when each of her parents passed away, she received no cards or phone calls from friends. However, following the death of the cat, she received 35 sympathy cards, baskets of fruit, platters of food and visits from neighbors.
I suppose we have now entered the Reign of Animals (of is it animals that reign ... : -)
Alex ... you forgot to factor in “Free Will”. The Catholic Church is NOT dictatorial. The teachings are intended to lead us to make the right decisions.

Don’t you mean like CINOs.
Real Catholics would never vote for an abortion supporter.
No, I mean like Catholics, most Catholics are devoted pro-abortion, democrat voters.
