Who do you mean, Cardinal O'Malley or Monsignor Garrity? I don't know what calling the latter would accomplish, since I have no connection to that parish. I do have friends who were driving their children a considerable distance to attend the parish school before the "lavender mafia" coup d'etat became apparent, but no more. Unfortunately the lavender mafia has been very much empowered under Cardinal O'Malley.
Call them both and register a complaint.I call all the time.
One of the supposed reasons Benedict XVI stepped down was to allow Francis during the interim to dismiss the homosexualphiles within the Vatican "civil service" and start new. Seems Francis I has not done this.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.---Cicero
A resounding Amen.
Unfortunately, O’Malley is not the only wingnut in the Gang o’ Eight.
The Second Vatican Council was the main event in the Church in the 20th Century. In principle, it meant an end to the hostilities between the Church and modernism, which was condemned in the First Vatican Council. On the contrary: neither the world is the realm of evil and sin these are conclusions clearly achieved in Vatican IInor is the Church the sole refuge of good and virtue. Modernism was, most of the time, a reaction against injustices and abuses that disparaged the dignity and the rights of the person. Cardinal Rodríguez Maradiaga.
Francis did a great job picking his "top" shepherds.
Apparently he’s overindulged in von Balthasar, unfiltered.
