What a crock. He wasn’t in Vietnam long enough to lose weight, much less his faith. About the only thing he lost there was the respect of his men, whom he was only too happy to desert after three phony self-awarded medals.

A collection of Kerry photos:

The cute little number that broke John's heart.

As Senator Kerry he could be relied on to bringhome the bacon.

At home Teresa allows Johnny to dress up in her clothes.

Whom are us to judge.

Herpety derp to the derp.

Perhaps you should get someone outside of the "special" school to edit for you.

Only your opinion! Herp!

To correct you!! Derp!

Land up in the courts! Herp-a-derp!

He lost his faith in Vietnam? Why? God wouldn’t let him wound himself more so he could get more fake medals?

And how would Buddha know of Christ when Buddha was born 624 BC? OR are all people who died before the New Covenant going to hell?

Christ is the way, Buddhism is a method. A much better method than say western organized Christian Churches.

Christ was not born. He has always existed. Prior to Christ people came to God as did Abraham: Faith.

Well we’ve come to that point in the conversation where we’ll have to agree to disagree. I’m not changing your mind and you’re not changing mine. One of us is right and one is wrong. We will find out on our deathbed.

I wish you well in life.

First, I need to note that I’m not Catholic, but did read “Father Smith Instructs Jackson” when I was 12, and still have it today.

As I understand the Faith from it and the Bible, I personally would recoil at receiving The Host, which, by my own witness, had been deconsecrated in so brazenly a manner. And particularly were I to receive it from the so-called “consecrating” priest himself! Holy Mother of God!

I should worry for own soul if I allowed it to continue to where it actually came to me. No, thank you.

I’d be out of there so fast it would make your head swim, and think to be better off seeking out a more traditional parish elsewhere.

But again, that’s just Old Testament me.

Or is he a CINO since he still endorses some non-Catholic ideas?

Suffering is not part of God’s plan. Suffering is the result of sin.

Suffering IS part of God's plan. It's in the chapter that came after Adam and Eve in 'paradise'. Suffering has a silver lining, though: it permits redemptive suffering, literally suffering that redeems.
