Evelyn Matthei, a Roman Catholic, is a graduate of Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Let's pray she succeeds with her campaign.
The socialist got 46% of the vote in the first round and this reporter calls it a socially conservative country.
The socialist only needs to pick up about 4% more of the votes to win this thing, so probably has this in the bag

Just because someone is Catholic does not automatically make them a Christian. Same for those raised in Protestant churches and other churches.
No, she just believes in killing some babies. You know, kind of like being for killing some Jews rather than all Jews. She’s like a half-Nazi, or maybe a part-time Nazi. The problem is once you make excuses for murder - especially murdering babies - you won’t stop at whatever imaginary redline you originally drew. It becomes a matter of convenience soon enough.
Bachelet is Chile’s Hillary. Let’s hope she loses. That great country doesn’t deserve a socialist.
