Our Merciful Father,

How we Love and Praise You, our Wonderful Savior-King. You are Everything to us, and we Exalt You with All our Hearts. May Eternity be Filled with Songs of Sweet Praise to Your Name. 'O Lord, our Lord, how Excellent is Your Name in All the Earth! (Ps.8:1)

Our Savior Most Kind, we Bring before You our Dear Troops. May Every Man be Sheltered, Father, beneath Your Covering Wing. May the Lord of Hosts Surround them, and Guard them on the Left and on the Right. May they Place their Trust in Jesus, and Call Daily upon Thy Name. For our Military Men and Women we Pray Psalm 3:4,5: 'I Cried Out to the Lord, and He Heard me from His Temple in Jerusalem. Then I Lay Down and Slept in Peace and Woke Up Safely, For the Lord was Watching Over me.'

Our Beloved Shepherd, how our Hearts Long for Revival in our Land. Please Sweep the Ungodly from Office, Lord, and Grant Election of the Just and Good. May the American People be Awakened from their Sin and Repent and Embrace what is Right. Help us, our God; Come and Rescue us, for the Glory of Thy Dear Name.

Thank You, our Abba, for Hearing and Answering our Prayers. In Jesus' Name, for the Glory and Honor of the King, amen.

The Path Of Wisdom

Albert Einstein was heard to say, “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.” Sadly, it does seem that far too often there is no limit to the foolishness we get ourselves into—or the damage we create by our foolishness and the choices it fosters.

It was in such a season of regret that David poured out his struggle and complaint to God in Psalm 38. As he recounted his own failings, as well as the painful consequences he was enduring because of those failings, the shepherd-king made an insightful comment: “My wounds are foul and festering because of my foolishness” (v.5). Although the psalmist does not give us the details of those choices or of his worsening wounds, one thing is clear—David recognized his own foolishness as their root cause.

The answer for such destructive foolishness is to embrace the wisdom of God. Proverbs 9:10 reminds us, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Only by allowing God to transform us can we overcome the foolish decisions that cause so much trouble. With His loving guidance, we can follow the pathway of godly wisdom.

Loving Father, forgive me for the seemingly
limitless capacity I have to be foolish. Teach me
in Your wisdom, so that my life might be pleasing
to You and a blessing to others around me.

God’s wisdom is given to those who humbly ask Him for it.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who straggled into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.



AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and envelop them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.
