Conservative Catholics -- both politically and religiously -- can now rejoice: due to her House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) longstanding support for abortion, she must be denied Communion under the law of the Catholic Church, said Chief Justice Cardinal Raymond Burke, head of the highest court at the Vatican.
Burke referenced Canon 915, a part of Canon law which states those Catholics who obstinately persevere “in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.”
As Cardinal Burke noted, “[Pelosi] is a person who obstinately, after repeated admonitions, persists in a grave sin--cooperating with the crime of procured abortion--and still professes to be a devout Catholic.”

It’s hard to not see that as false doctrine. She should actually be excommunicated.
Ol’ Snaredrum Face won’t care. She’ll find some liberal parish where they give Communion to pets.
What matters is not how individuals interpret Cardinal Burke’s somewhat guarded remarks.
What matters is whether or not Pelosi is denied communion. The Catholic Church has it well within its power to see to it that she does not receive communion, should they desire that outcome.
I would love to see her turned away from Communion, I would be even happier if she truly lived her faith, turn away from murder, and received Communion in a state of grace.
Little nazified Nancy takes her real communion from a different church, one in which she is the mistress, and the sacrifices are bloodier than crackers and wine.
I am not Catholic, so I do not know, but does this mean that Little Miss Plastic Face is going to hell?
My thoughts exactly. It will be like judge shopping, but far easier, and ,more lucrative for the ‘open minded’ clergy she finally meets.
Well I doubt the American cardinals will refuse her if she shows up.
But whether they do or not she knows now that she is not entitled to the Sacrament, and o try to receive Communion in that State would just add to the Charges when she faces the Head Man. Not that she needs additional charges a, and like the murdering Kennedy’s when she is buried there will be a Cardinal there to watch her go.
It the Church applied this to Joe Biden, he would say “Hey, this is a big F###in’ deal!”

That is not “fair” to pick on poor Nancy and single her out. There are dozens of other faux Catholics in congress who should get the same treatment.

I don’t know whether this was his opinion or whether he issued an order.
The problem is that she claims she is under DC’s Cardinal Wuerl, a famous pro-Dem bishop who wouldn’t do a thing to offend her. Her place of residence is San Francisco, where she lives in a splendid mansion known to all the locals...she lived there even when she was Mayor, because she’s from a wealthy family and her husband is mega-wealthy.
So this would mean that her bishop is Cordileone, who is very orthodox but obviously, without the support of Rome, won’t do anything to touch her.
Does this mean Rome is now giving him some support?
