Glenn Beck Converts To Chrislam

June 10, 2013

By Theodore Shoebat

An excerpt:

... If we are eager to be equally yolked with Mormons as spiritual equals because of the charisma of Beck, then we will fall into accepting their theology, leading us further into welcoming Islam as an inspired religion. Yet this is exactly what Beck believes.

This error is that grave heresy which has been growing recently: chrislam. If you think Beck combats Islam, you are mistaken. He speaks out against terrorism yes, but not the source of it. He writes in one of his books, An Inconvenient Truth:

"I have read the Koran and can tell you that I unequivocally believe that Islam is a religion of peace."

Not only is Islam acceptable as the “religion of peace”, but invited everyone to get possessed by demons. As astonishing as it sounds, its true. Beck, in his book The 7 (co-athored with Keith Ablow), writes:

"Every major religion and culture has identified faith as a force that unlocks mysterious and magnificent energy. The Book of Mormon puts it simply and directly: ‘…Whenever men have sufficient faith, angels have ministered unto them.’ Hinduism, Taoism, Chinese popular religion, Siberian shamanism, and other traditions speak of a polestar. …You have a polestar inside you. It is connected with all the energy in the universe. When you begin to follow that star you align yourself with immeasurable, inexplicable forces that will actually help you manifest your best intentions."

Why is Beck so focused on doctrines of devils? Because it is a part of his religion which we are all now required to respect and accept. In fact, Beck’s prophet, Joseph Smith led the most radical form of chrislam, emulating Muhammad in both his heresy and his violence. He believed that “Mahomet [Muhammad] was a true prophet.” Joseph Smith once declared:

"I will be to this generation a second Mohammad, whose motto in treating for peace was ‘Alcoran or the Sword.’ So shall it eventually be with us–’Joseph Smith or the Sword.’" (See Alvin Schmidt, The American Muhammad, ch. 3, p. 60)

So intense was Smith’s emulation of Muhammad that some American news editors called him “the American Mahomet,” or “the yankee Mahomet.” (See historian Alvin Schmidt, The American Muhammad, ch. 1, p. 27) Apparently Americans were more astute and educated on such matters in Smith’s day, and if there was one thing I wish to revive in this country, it is this very erudition on cults, past and present.

Nothing is new under the sun. What Christians are unaware that what Beck is doing now is shockingly what the Mormons were already doing in the earliest days of Mormonism till now where volumes of support for Islam and Muhammad have been declared by the LDS. The first Mormons honored Muhammad as a prophet when they made a council specifically dedicated to appreciating Islam.

"Islam as “stone age Mormonism.”"

Love it!
I think I'll start using that expression - two birds with one stone, and all that....

Time after time he hypes things to the heavens but not every time does he deliver

Evidently the Beckonite High Priest doesn't know how the balloon works any better than the snake oil salesman who pretended to be the Wizard of Oz.

Dorothy should've used that broom to smack his fraudulent arse all the way back to Kansas.

Last time I got into this with Beck supporters I said this and it still applies. If he is sitting on world altering info, it is his duty as An American to publish it for America’s benefit. Not his profit/in his personal timeframe.

I do not begrudge the man his dollar, but not at the expense of the country.

When Glenn starts preaching, begging or pleading I shut his show off. Usually takes him one hour. No problem for me.

I've been following politics and current events for a few decades or so. I can tell who is on my side and who is not. I agree with your comment completely.

“I’m not sure what has happend to our community here on Free Republic but I do know that a few are infiltrating their hate into a once good community.”

Probably the reason freepathons drag on forever.

You mean his Mormonism.

What’s the Reformed Egyptian / Kolobian for “FAIL”?

Fruitcakes come in multiple flavors, liberal & conservative.

Just because Beck occasionally has a good idea is no reason to follow him. He's a clever talker, as is Satan.

[But I would never question his Christian faith, nor that of any other man, without evidence, ]

Oh Dubya, ~that RINO... sorry.

Evidence like giving a nudge and a wink to Kenny Mehlman & Co prancing around the White Hut in their lite loafers?

The RINOcracy peddled their mischief using religious plumage of the Focus on the Family farse - while all along letting the termites devour the Republic from the inside out.

I don’t know if what was in Dubya’s heart was - but I can sure see what his Administration was NOT.

The Mormon-Muslim connection must be studied further.

Walid Shoebat is a former terrorist and ex-Muslim who is now a born-again Christian. What he says about Glenn Beck should be looked into even if a grain of salt is needed.

The term “chrislam” usually refers to survival techniques used by Middle Eastern Christians to appease the Muslim majority that surrounds them.

Apologists for Islam often claim that the Koran contains no bloodthirsty verses (!!?) nor preaches hatred for Jews, and they deliberately omit mention of the Hadiths & Sira (life of Mohammed) which are filled with violent rhetoric against Jews and other “infidels”.

It is not “Mormon-bashing” to be suspicious of the origin of the Book of Mormon, by the way. I listen to Glenn Beck every day but I still wonder what spiritual journey drove him from Catholicism to Mormonism.

Where is the self-evident  faith of The Party(tm) that's propped up not just one, but multiple generations of flaming shrubbery?

” I’m not sure what has happend to our community here on Free Republic but I do know that a few are infiltrating their hate into a once good community. “

Please. FR was home to weeks long flame wars, rabid name calling, subterfuge, frauds, and general trollish behavior since before I signed up.

I don’t know how to post videos onto FR).

That is fine because i don,t know how to watch them, that is i don,t even know if my pc has a speaker.

I have listened to Beck, as i have listened to the other talk show hosts for no other reason than getting filled in on the news as i have no TV and would not believe half of what the news media says any way.

I do not listed for spiritual reasons, what i want to know about that i find in the Bible

I agree that when ever the topic gets on the subject of our salvation which is in Christ if they do not say the exact same as we can read in the scriptures we need to turn them off.

As far as the future is concerned God tells us all about that, we may not all agree on what he is telling us but we are not going to change it what ever it is.

The reason for his journey is simple - he was a drunk.

Catholicism permits liquor. Mormonism forbids it.

Beck is more comfortable in a religion that considers his greatest enemy to be an "evil" substance rather than a foodstuff. It helps his recovery in a very uncomplicated way.

Also, Beck has a very grandiose sense of self - a religion which teaches that he may one day be the deity of his own universe would be very attractive to him, I would think.
