Catholics in St. Petersburg, Russia joined in a Eucharistic procession through the city’s streets on June 2.
The Corpus Christi procession was the first such public celebration since the Communist revolution in 1918. Police escorted the priests, religious, and lay people who joined in the march, which covered a distance of nearly 2 miles between parish churches.

This was a Catholic procession but your observation remains valid.

I read somewhere that at Fatima, Our Lady said Russia would get very bad, and then very good. I can’t seem to find that exact quote though....
We have certainly seen the “very bad” already....
Only if it were properly consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Which it hasn't been. Otherwise, it would spread its errors. Which it has.
Having said all that, some trends there are encouraging.

Putin likely realizes that Russia cannot be Russia without Christianity, while the United States, where Christianity is subverted every day, becomes less and less the United States.
