Yes, unfortunately this is for real. I read some of the postings on the Huffpo and the first page somewhat encouraged me, then it went downhill. If there are people who call themselves Christians defending this guy, they better pay closer attention to all the scripture, not just what they like to “use”.

Weinstein was probably a disagreeable, anti-social egoist who chaffed at military order and discipline. When his squadron elected to bring this to his attention, he hyper-reacted to his “harsh” treatment at their hands and tarred them as anti-Semitic Christians. No doubt it was his personality disorder that earned him a beatdown, not the circumcision.
