Mark Wahlberg wants church clean-up after sex scandal
MSN Entertainment ^ | March 20, 2013

Posted on 04/02/2013 4:58:19 PM PDT by Alex Murphy

He tells the Sydney Morning Herald, "I'm just glad that it's all coming to light so we can clean up the church so these things aren't happening any more. These are horrible things. Paedophiles or what have you hiding behind the cloth needs to be dealt with and addressed. But my faith will never waver because of people who are weak in the flesh." Wahlberg adds of his religious lifestyle, "Being a Catholic and also being a husband and a parent definitely makes me think a little bit longer and harder about the (movie) choices I make, but being an artist I've got to be able to have the freedom to try things that I want to do. So I just weigh those decisions up. Everything comes in to play."

I don’t agree with his politics, but he appears to be a devoted husband and father.

We can respect him for that.

Ted wasn’t that bad of a movie. I enjoyed it.

I said this 10 years ago. I had spoken with Father Tom Doyle, one of the few sane voices regarding the Catholic sexual abides scandal. Father Doyle was fired from his position as a military Chaplain because he opposed the evil. The Catholic priesthood is infected with homosexuals. Until that is even addressed, God will not remove His judgment.

Abides = Abuse. IPads do what they do. Apologies.

I finally watched Ted this weekend and was rolling on the floor laughing. It was good. He has always been a good actor. Way better than his boy-band days.

One of the absolute worst scenes in what may be the worst performance he's ever given.

Mark Wahlberg channeling Derek Zoolander.

And the judgment was?

Yeah I saw him doing an interview talking about taking his kids to watch his tattoo removal sessions so they understand how painful it can be. He actually seems to be a pretty down to earth guy.

And the judgment was?

The question rather is vladimir988, what IS the jugement.

God judges sin.

Psalm 7:11

The Bible is very, very clear. Christ forgives sin, if we admit it and repent.

The Catholic Church as an institution has neither admitted of its homosexual sin, nor repented.

He was an amazing actor in Band of Brothers, Perfect Storm, Broken City, Rock Star, and The Departed.

I am not defending all of his views or politics, but he is a great actor.

No...Donnie was the Band of Brothers Walhberg. Ted was Marky Mark.

Mark seems to be a real redemption story. Unbelievable punk as a kid. But he got himself squared away and is a decent guy.
