Our Merciful Father,

'O Lord, the Earth is Full of Your Lovingkindness. Your Faithfulness Extends to Every Generation, like the Earth You Created; it Endures by Your Decree, for Everything Serves Your Plans.' (Ps.119:63,90,91) We Love You, Most Gracious and Kind Shepherd-King. 'You are my Refuge and my Shield, and Your Promises are my Only Source of Hope.' (Ps.119:114)

How Thankful we are, Lord, for our Valiant, Beloved Military Men. Our Heart's Desire is that they will be Supremely Blessed. May our Savior Daily Strengthen them, and Supply Every Resource they Need. May the Protection of Jehovah Abide with Each and Every Precious Life. For Any who don't Know Thee, we Ask for their Salvation, Dearest Lord. For our Military Men and Women we Pray John 10:27-30, 'My Sheep Hear My Voice; and I Know them, and they Follow Me: And I Give unto them Eternal Life; and they shall Never Perish, Neither shall Any Man Pluck them out of My Hand. My Father, Which Gave them Me, is Greater than All; and No Man is able to Pluck them out of My Father's Hand.'

We are So Thankful, Lord, for Your Tender Mercies and Loving Grace! We Trust in Your Atoning Work for us and in Your Resurrection from the Dead. Today, and Always, we Rejoice in the Wonderful Words of Matthew 28:6, He is Risen! In Jesus' Name, for the Glory and Praise of the King, amen.

Knee-Deep In Daffodils

March 31, 2013

When the first flowers of spring bloomed in our yard, my 5-year-old son waded into a patch of daffodils. He noticed some debris from plants that had expired months before and remarked, “Mom, when I see something dead, it reminds me of Easter because Jesus died on the cross.” I replied, “When I see something alive—like the daffodils—it reminds me that Jesus came back to life!”

One reason we know Jesus rose from the grave is that, according to the gospel of Luke, He approached two travelers headed to Emmaus 3 days after His crucifixion. Jesus walked with them; He ate dinner with them; He even gave them a lesson in Old Testament prophecy (24:15-27). This encounter showed the travelers that Jesus conquered the grave—He had risen from the dead. As a result, the pair returned to Jerusalem and told the disciples, “The Lord is risen indeed!” (v.34).

If Jesus had not come back to life, our faith as Christians would be pointless, and we would still be under the penalty of our sin (1 Cor. 15:17). However, the Bible tells us that Jesus “was raised to life for our justification” (Rom. 4:25 niv). Today, we can be right with God because Jesus is alive!

I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today;
I know that He is living, whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer,
And just the time I need Him He’s always near.

Psalm 90:17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us. And make the work of our hands stand strong. Yes, make the work of our hands stand strong.

OH LORD, we ask for Great MERCY and Amazing GRACE to be upon our Military men and women. May they join in prayer and petition, asking from YOU that which they need to protect this country and our people, STRENGTH. Strength to persevere, strength to remain faithful, strength to be courageous, strength to help the weak, strength to endure sorrow and pain, strength to stay committed. OH LORD, keep them as we entrust them to YOUR CARE..Amen.

Happy Easter Kitty Mittens !!!

AMEN!!

This is wonderful: they shall Never Perish, Neither shall Any Man Pluck them out of My Hand. My Father, Which Gave them Me, is Greater than All; and No Man is able to Pluck them out of My Father's Hand.'
