Gay Marriage Is the Media's Vehicle, Destination Is to Destroy the Church
Big Journalism ^ | 3/26/2013 | John Nolte

If anyone wants to argue that the same government currently forcing religious institutions to purchase the abortion pill through ObamaCare will not eventually use civil rights violations in order to attempt to force the Church to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies -- good luck with that.

But this would have been unthinkable five years ago.

It was just three months ago that the White House and media piled on a reverend for preaching the Bible's teachings on homosexuality. The result was his invitation to speak at Obama's inauguration being rescinded.

This would have been unthinkable five years ago.

With the election of Pope Francis, we have news anchors openly clamoring that the Church is out of step on same-sex marriage.

This would have been unthinkable five years ago.

Fifteen years ago, the same leftists and media assuring us today that same-sex marriage won't be imposed on the Church were telling us that civil unions (which I've always supported) would never lead to gay marriage.

Attacks on Christians claiming they are old fashioned and bigoted against gays will continue. Meanwhile no attacks toward Muslims.

Correct, the intent is to destroy the Church as has been tried so many times before. It always fails and it will fail again. The gates of hell will not prevail (that would make a good protest chant). But we are certainly in for a big fight ahead.

People have been trying to destroy Christ for 2000 years and God from the beginning........
The MSM media will not be successful either.

Redefine marriage, encourage homosexuality, redefine ages of consent, legalize pedophilia. Read the 1972 Gay Conference proceedings and plan. Also the conference was made up of communists that masqueraded as Civil Rights activists.

Most people who support gay marriage are irreligious, and couldn’t care less what a church does or doesn’t do. If they stop to think about the Church they think it’ll end up about where it is in Western Europe or Japan; about as relevant in the lives of most poeple as their neighbor’s bridge club.

Don’t forget that Navy Chaplains cannot pray in the name of “Jesus”.

The problem with those of the Libertarian bent, folks who have been heavily influenced by Ron Paul and others, who are trying to surrender the fight to defend marriage and the natural family for us, is that they utterly fail to recognize a number of critically important things:

1) The fundamental nature of the marriage bond and its character as the basis for all human civilization, governance and economy.

2) The moral depravity that the homosexual idea represents.

3) The fact that if you give government over to moral depravity you will have destroyed the possibility of republican, constitutional self-government.

Our first President:

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness — these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles.”

— George Washington

Our second President:

“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our constitution as a whale goes through a net.”

— John Adams

Our third President:

“No government can continue good but under the control of the people; and . . . . their minds are to be informed by education what is right and what wrong; to be encouraged in habits of virtue and to be deterred from those of vice . . . . These are the inculcations necessary to render the people a sure basis for the structure and order of government.”

— Thomas Jefferson

Our fourth President:

“The aim of every political Constitution, is or ought to be first to obtain for rulers men who possess most wisdom to discern, and most virtue to pursue, the common good of society; and in the next place, to take the most effectual precautions for keeping them virtuous whilst they continue to hold their public trust.”

— James Madison

I do not agree that people who support homosexuals are irreligious.

Mostof those who are not gay and support homosexuals have a loved one who is Homosexual. They support that child in spite of religion, in spite of anything, just as the Mother and Aunt lied for that baby murdering mother humper who shot the baby in the face.

My wife and I were discussing this issue tonight from a different angle—we were making a list of local churches we’re familiar with that would or would not knowingly accept same-sex married couples into their congregation.

They are irrational and ignorant, which makes them irreligious. Wisdom and Knowledge is needed to be moral and virtuous. Wisdom is a Virtue. Courage to speak the Truth to evil, is a Virtue.

To not be outraged at people who mock God and defile their bodies in evil ways and use others in such a dehumanizing way, can never be OK. By not condemning it—they are doing evil.

Christianity is always about Truth and is aligned with Natural laws. There is nothing “natural” about sodomy. You habituate yourself with the good. If people don’t admit their sin and persist in sinning—you do not hang around them. It is clear in the Bible.

It is “cognitive dissonance” to ever think that sodomizing others is “good”. It is evil. Sodomy is a Vice. If you persist in Vice or allow it, you are evil.

It destroys Virtue in human beings-—you can NOT be moral and “think” sodomy is “good” because it is using human beings as a “means to an end”-—for selfish lust. Poking things into cavities for “love” is never what they are doing. It is a Satanic urge which is learned-—usually by child abuse so it should be discouraged in ALL decent societies. Look at Afghanistan where sodomy is accepted as “good”-—it is a warped worldview and boys always will suffer the abuse because of the immaturity and idolatry of sodomy and the normalizing which cultures do (Samurai).

You can never teach young children in their formative years such evil ideas—it warps their perception of their bodies in a vulgar, evil way-—Sodomy is vile. That is why forcing laws to make it “good” is evil and will collapse our culture—exactly what the Cultural Marxists designed.

You can never teach your children Christian Ethics if you allow homosexuals to “marry” and ACT like their vile acts are intrinsically good. It blurs good and evil in children, confuses their normal sexual identity formation, because they will look at men and women in a perverted, unnatural (illogical) way. It corrupts their ability to Reason.

Why do you think kids can’t “think” anymore-—they are ignorant and “feel” the “truth” with all the Marxist indoctrination—that radical egalitarianism (lies) which state that men and women are interchangeable. It is a lie and irrational and unnatural. It is dehumanizing to both men and women-—(evil) to deny their very masculine and feminine attributes and treat them as interchangeable and NOT UNIQUE. Christianity treats ALL humans as UNIQUE==and they NEVER can deny their Natural attributes-—it is the Truth—science.

It is amazing that Marxists act like religion is so “unscientific” when they have thrown out science and reason, to claim two men are the same as two women. It is irrational. Marxism is irrational-—as Ayn Rand explained.

I would want my church to require that you be a member in good standing at the church to have a pastor marry you there. God loves the homosexual but hates the sin. Homos are welcome, just not practicing (sinning) homosexuals, unless they are looking for help.

And also be prepared to see your tax-free status rescinded - and have the funds to fight it all the way to SCOTUS.

Churches can just get out of the business of handling the paperwork for the state regarding marriage. Folks can get ‘married’ at the town hall, or by some agent of the state, anywhere they wish. If they wish, they can have a religious ceremony in the faith tradition of their choice, at any time. If that ceremony has nothing to do with the State, how can the State demand anything of them, with regard to who is, or is not, allowed to have their union ‘blessed’ in any Church?

Under the present interpretation of civil rights laws, the state (usually a State, specifically, but sometimes a city, county, or other governmental unit) has the authority to coerce private organization to provide products and services, whether they wish to or not.

If they can compel (or fine, or withdraw licensing) a bakery, florist, photographer, or event venue to serve a homosexual couple, do you think the next step won't be applying coercion to a religious organization which doesn't want to perform a ceremony?

Note that these things are happening already, even where homosexual "marriage" is not recognized by law.
