Just wanted to report that today I saw kids praying in public school. About eight of them. High school age boys! I attended a music competition to see my daughter's high school band perform. As the group waited outside to go into the warm-up room, prior to performing for the judges, a boy said, "Well, guys, we should pray." There was a little back and forth as it was sorted out who was Christian and who was not interested, and a huddle of guys formed, with their arms around each others' shoulders, seriously praying for their performance to go well and offering it up to God.
I thought, with all the worry about American kids these days, it was worth sharing something positive about the next generation.
Thank you!!!
Now that’s good to hear. And you’re in the peoples republic of Kalifornia???!!!
California is NOT ALL what it’s made out to be. Some people, yes..
But where I raised my kids, where this poster’s child is...does NOT fit everyone’s stereotype of the state.
Very good. Thanks for sharing.
As long as there are calculus exams there will be prayer in schools.
Nice story; thanks for sharing...
Great news from the left coast, gives those of us in Public eduction hope and shows what good parenting can do.
I LIKE IT!!
And just a further illustration that faith lives and thrives.
And some think we are Godless and teach Godless principles.
Please do not ping me. Please remove me from all of your ping lists. ( More than one name is a list, by the way.)
You have been requested, by me, on numerous occasions to do this.
Politely and respectfully,
Wintertime
