Interesting discussion yesterday with a variety of opinions. Just curious what some here might believe and why...
Hate doesn’t care if it wins.

So... based on the demons response here... do we think they know the future... or they have just read and accept God’s prophecy? Just curious...
He must. Especially since it is much easier to follow Satan than it is to follow the Lord. One may not even want to follow Satan, but do anyway.

If Satan exists, who created him?
Of course not. he just wants to take as many souls down with him that he possibly can. God loves us & it hurts Him when we turn from Him. The devil knows that.

I think that Satan knows for certain that he will lose. I believe he has read God’s Word, and has probably been told by God himself. His hate for God is so great that he doesn’t care that he will lose, just as long as he gets to take as many of God’s creation with him.
That’s one of the primary thoughts. That he knows he can’t win but just wants to do the damage etc. I’ve talked to a few of his professed followers. You know... they really believe Satan will win the battle ultimately. That bad will win in the end. We know differently, but they believe it.

No, he does not believe he can win.
However, he does NOT want to perish (and lose) alone.
Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels (not man).
Man will only go there by rejecting grace (therefore God does not determine someone’s eventual abode, but the free will of man determines his fate).
