Beautiful & Wise Message
Vanity | 11/7/12 | Wpin

My brother, I know how disturbing these events are to you. But, please remember that the King we recognize is forever King. I know I have been publicly rather neutral, some may say ambivalent and in some respects, that judgement may be accurate. But I have been deeply interested as of late in looking at the scriptural instances of a nation pulled in opposing directions. I have spent the last few weeks looking at Numbers 11 and have drawn several conclusions. First, the kind of dissent and dissatisfaction we are seeing in culture begins with all unbelievers. They all have a craving that they cannot satisfy and seek fulfillment from a human leader. That craving is echoed by weak believers. Looking closely at the text, the believers sin is not agreeing with the culture that a fulfilled perceived need would be nice, the believers sin is allowing that craving to actively turn hearts to an attitude of actually despising Gods true provisions and despising God, himself. Now, here we are. We have a culture which hates God, has removed Him from gvmt, from schools, from workplaces, from public events. We have a culture which hates prayer in any form, which hates God's morality and actively affirms that all sinful acts are fine under the banner of tolerance. We have a culture where less people than any time in our history affirms no relationship with religion of any kind. Yet at the end of the day, they have a craving...a need seeking to be fulfilled... In the story in Numbers, the craving was meat...biblically, hearts to an attitude of actually despising Gods true provisions and despising God, himself. Now, here we are. In addition, it repeats the same part several times without reaching the conclusion. I hope there is more to the e-mail than this.

After the "meat", what does the rest say? With paragraphs ( < p > - take out the spaces between the "< >" ) if possible. Thanks, brother.
