For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

Amos 2:6

Thus saith the Lord;
For three transgressions of Israel,
and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof;
because they sold the righteous for silver,
and the poor for a pair of shoes;

Is this President the man of sin?

I don’t know.

What I do know is that collectivism can only take root and grow in a population that is spiritually and morally corrupt. This, like the Clinton elections in the 90’s, is a moment when our spiritual temperature is measured.

We will wake up tomorrow and do the next thing.

We are told to be watchful... the world is nearly ripe for a false Messiah.

I do not believe Zero is the anti-Christ, but he provides an example of how the masses will blindly follow the anti-Christ.

Perfect scripture. 2nd time I heard it tonight.

Delusion was on full display today. When is evil is called good and the masses wave their flags in approval, you know it's one minute to midnight.

The Book of Job. God allowing SAtan to test America by taking away all.

I think we need to remember that God doesn’t care too much about kings and Nations and groups of people, with the exception of Jews. But he IS concerned about the salvation of each individual. And He does work for good for all that believe in Him. Of course, the end of America and us scrounging around in the wastelands may be what it takes to make our faith in Him stronger.

I met a Chinese missionary that said the Christians in China were praying that Christians in America would be persecuted (like they were) so that our faith would grow. I told him “Tell them thanks. And tell then to knock it off!”

It did. But I’m just saying that it was him as an individual. America may be no more - but we need to realize that God is bigger than some nation. Even greater than America.

I remember, 15 years ago, my then wife of 20 years, completely out of the blue, served me divorce papers “without cause”.

I remember the feeling and my feelings of the time following. The world changed for me as much as if it had physically changed, or I had changed places for the rest of my life with another person. It was gut wrenching. It was hard.

This is what this felt like.

I feel a bit like I am Dr. Zhivago. At the very least, I feel like I am going to see the same kind of change he saw.

The first, most obvious impact is that I’m tempted to walk away from all side activities - quit my bands. It is no longer relevant and distracts me from my relationship with my Creator. No more arguing politics with liberals on the internet. I must shake the dust off my feet as a testimony against them.

The hardest part of the “shaking the dust” is walking away from my adult children who are not saved. There are a lot of people I will be unfriending in facebook. I am done with all the arguments. It is pointless and, to be frank, last night proved it always was.

2008 put us in a place where we could see who Obama was. Yesterday we got to see who the American people are.

I have a lot more processing to do, but the words of a visiting pastor to my church a couple of decades ago ring in my ears as I type this, and the wisdom is apparent now:

“Where would the early church have been if it had put its faith in Rome?”

Yes, I get your point however I believe God is allowing us- Christian Conservatives- to go thru 4 years of tribulation with Obama and pansy Republicans in government. I hope like Job, this makes us stronger.

I dont think that but pastor last week talked about those having what he referred to as "the spirit of anti-Christ". Obama was specifically noted.
