I agree God is sovereign over human leaders. But I am not. God will pick whom he will, but he will also hold me to account for the sin of supporting a proponent of false, antichristian doctrine, when he has given direct instructions to the contrary.

I find your definition of good and honorable curious. As governor Romney essentially sanctioned homosexual sin and wrecked traditional marriage, undermined fundamental Constitutional freedoms, aligned himself with radical environmentalists who desire to destroy our way of life, named liberal Democrats to the bench, and fought for and signed a baby-killing socialist medical boondoggle.

Try explaining to God how you supported the subjection of the Holy Bible to the Non-Biblical Nicene Creeds (sic)

As you can see here, The Nicene Creed according to the scriptures, every concept in the Nicene Creed is taken directly from and supported by scripture. In other words, the creed is not superior to the Bible; it is not a replacement for the Bible; it merely summarizes some of its key teachings.

Of course, after the Nicene Creed was on its way out to the junkyard of History a Christian Apostate Emperor by the name of Justin the Apostate brought it back to create a fission in the expanding non-Nicene Christianity in hopes of restoring paganism.

I was not aware of this. Do you have any well-established non-biased historical sources that back this up? If so, would you please provide them.

I could go into the weak underpinning of the Creed, and how it contradicts the vast amount of evidence in the Bible

Please do. I have provided you with a source that does the opposite. I am more than interested in learning if you can back up your assertion.

You just tell yourself that your (sic) obeying God by not sustaining a Latter Day Saint .... while you in full conscience perpetuate a biblical and religious fraud just because it’s 1687 years old.

I provided 14 reasons why I cannot support a Latter Day Saint HERE. You were unwilling and/or unable to contradict a single one. Instead, you resorted to an unsubstantiated and obviously incorrect attack on a statement of faith ... or in other words, rather than rebut facts, you attempted to change the subject.

Conclusion: I challenge you to substantiate your assertions with evidence. Furthermore, I challenge you to answer the issues raised in my original response. And finally, I challenge you to do the latter before you embark on another wild goose chase.

So then I take it you are voting for Obama?

(Voting for Virgil Goode...with results no different than say...a voter in Oregon voting for either Goode or Mitt Romney there...so anybody wanting to make the pronouncement that Goode will lose...well, hey, Romney won't win anymore in Oregon than Goode would...)

God Bless ya, it’s better that a man not “gain the world and lose his soul”. It is better that our countrymen be saved by Grace than to live for a short while here on earth-and then the 2nd death, even under a Republican President.

I don’t like Romney or Obama..which brings us back to the point: politics can’t save ANYONE!

Stand firm in the faith.

I don’t like either choice, however, as you indicate we need to keep this simple.

Supreme Court appointments are for life. Between these two men, who is most likely to do the least harm?

“YOU (plural YOU) just need to be able to recognize a candidate who pretends to be divine.”

Don’t worry I have Obama on my radar...

“I said you have only two VIABLE choices”

Ok I see your point. You meant that if I want to vote for a liberal, statist, who worships one or more false gods - or thinks of himself as God- I only have two viable choices.

You are probably right. Fortunately, I only vote for conservatives, so I have more choices than you.

I agree with you on one thing, Mormonism is a religion which do not base their belief 100 percent on the scriptures that come from our lord Jesus who is the founder of our faith.

Our U. S. Government also was not founded entirely on this faith but did base their logic on the fact that all men should be free and that all men were equal, Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Do you know of any Church with out fault? if a man has two faults is he any worse that a man who just has one?

Is a thief and a liar any worse than just a liar?

Is a man who has ten willing wives as bad as a man who is just a sneak thief?

No i do not believe in the Mormon religion but i will vote for a man with ten wives much sooner than a man with a husband.

If you have a strong belief, you should be able to convince others without acting like James Carville. Can you imagine how the Bible would read if was about your postings on FR? They are not very Christ-like, are they? Do you really think you can convince others by posting negatives? That’s a terrible sales tactic!

That’s why I have repeatedly said that these anti-Mormon postings are not about religion—they are about one’s ego.

Over the years I have come to believe that the evangelicals have done to the Bible what the liberals have done to the Constitution. They change the writings with newer versions and modify the commandments to suit their personal idiom. Then they attack anybody that disagrees with or questions their beliefs — squawking that others are not real Christians, they’re out of the mainstream!

Democrats do the same thing.

Why don’t you try selling your version of religion without acting like Carville and Pelosi. If you study true Christianity and read into Christ-like behavior, I’m sure you can find a better way.

Very silly thing to post on an unprovable, metaphysical thread. At least you did not ask for PROOF.

Thanks for making it obvious YOU are clueless about Christianity and God's WORD! Christians aren't the 'roll and over and play dead' folk you would 'prefer' them to be!

We changed NOTHING - you just don't KNOW IT!

Do you really think you can convince others by posting negatives? That’s a terrible sales tactic.

WE DON'T use tactics - you have satan/Mitt on your mind! We aren't selling anything - IT CAN'T BE BOUGHT!

Most Christians Have No Idea What Mormons Believe.

You are 100% correct. I knew NOTHING about Mormonism until Romney stepped on the GOP campaign stage and LIED his butt off. I thought, this OBVIOUS LIAR, must be an embarrassment to the Mormonism. Then I learned mitt was a bishop and the learning continue. He is a despicable evil human being. I don't think he would be this bad w/o Mormonism. Evil enters one who has an open door - and being godless he is very useable to evil!

Is Mormonism a Christian Denomination?

If you have to ask, I trust you don't know much about Christianity.

His oath to his cult supersedes an oath to America. You think his cult isn't important to him? So much for you trying to 'protect' the LIBERAL CULT LEADER!

If you hate 'America under God' so much - ADMIT IT but don't make Romney look like some little saint being attacked or some Patriot who loves this country. ALL his accomplishments are 'ANTI-AMERICAN!

Never mind the people across the country who have lost jobs.

And Romney said he likes to fire people!

Never mind the families who have moved in with their parents in order to survive. Never mind peoples life savings dwindling down to nothing.

Romney said he's not worried about the poor.

So much for your boy Romney to care about what you 'supposedly' care about. Turn YOUR ANGST to where it belongs!

Very silly thing to post on an unprovable, metaphysical thread. At least you did not ask for PROOF.

Actually, Teppe made some very specific historical and factual claims, specifically:

These are very specific allegations which, if true, can be easily supported with annotations from reputable sources.

You should also note the other part of my reply, specifically where I noted that:

I provided 14 reasons why I cannot support a Latter Day Saint HERE. You were unwilling and/or unable to contradict a single one. Instead, you resorted to an unsubstantiated and obviously incorrect attack on a statement of faith ... or in other words, rather than rebut facts, you attempted to change the subject. [Accordingly] I challenge you to answer the issues raised in my original response.

Each of these points come directly from LDS teachings and therefore no metaphysical reasoning is required ... either I was correctly citing Mormon theology, or I was not. If so, on any of the 14 issues, then the recommendation in the article is valid, specifically:

To Pastors: If you plan on endorsing Governor Mitt Romney for the office of President of the United States, do so by clearly and unequivocally distancing yourself and Biblical Christianity from his Mormon beliefs.

I also believe that my personal belief is still valid, that [no] true Christian anywhere would ever contemplate supporting any candidate for any public office that espouses such horrible heretical and blasphemous doctrines -- be they Muslim, Mormon, or whatever.

Finally, the Conclusion reached in the post you addressed still stands, namely: I challenge you to substantiate your assertions with evidence. Furthermore, I challenge you to answer the issues raised in my original response. And finally, I challenge you to do the latter before you embark on another wild goose chase.

moronic Marxist imposter.

or the moronic LIBERAL CULT LEADER imposter to the GOP.

Do NOT complicate simple actions!

LOL!! Like bowing to evil. Every action has a consequence but that's over the head of the simple minded.
