if by “great whore” you mean the holy Catholic church you are grossly mistaken
Excellent antiCatholic Judaizer screed. I will congragulate you. Do you have any evidence that your claims are true, or are you simply reading multifonted, multicoloured and hysterical websites?
Judaizers are proscribed, by the way. In Acts. Or do you think that the rot began immediately after Jesus died, was Resurrected and Ascended?
I wish some day someone would explain to me where atheists, materialists, and naturalists get their belief that human history is teleological.
Nothing "holy" in that abomination. The "heretic" William Tyndale was strangled and burned by the whore for translating the Bible into English.
Not to say there aren’t sinners everywhere, but you don’t know what you are talking about
“its own inherent weaknesses?”
the same weaknesses as Judaism—that being fallible humans are attempting to carry it out
In 1535, Tyndale was arrested and jailed in the castle of Vilvoorde outside Brussels for over a year. He was tried for heresy, choked, impaled and burnt on a stake in 1536. The Tyndale Bible, as it was known, continued to play a key role in spreading Reformation ideas across the English-speaking world.[2] The fifty-four independent scholars who created the King James Version of the Bible in 1611 drew significantly on Tyndale's translations. One estimation suggests the New Testament in the King James Version is 83% Tyndale's, and the Old Testament 76%.William Tyndale (Wikipedia)
William Tyndale (Conservapedia)
He is just one of many Christians killed by Rome who wanted to keep the people in darkness (ostensively "protecting" the Bible) and under the thumb of its "universal church" and false priesthood.
Thanks to Tyndale and other brave brothers and sisters, I (and you) can read the word in our native language. This is 1611 "modern English", but understandable still:
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious. Ye also as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:1-5)
