Excerpt here:

Preamble

As members of the worldwide Christian community, we were deeply encouraged and challenged by the recent historic open letter signed by 138 leading Muslim scholars, clerics, and intellectuals from around the world. A Common Word Between Us and You identifies some core common ground between Christianity and Islam which lies at the heart of our respective faiths as well as at the heart of the most ancient Abrahamic faith, Judaism. Jesus Christ’s call to love God and neighbor was rooted in the divine revelation to the people of Israel embodied in the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:5; Leviticus 19:18). We receive the open letter as a Muslim hand of conviviality and cooperation extended to Christians worldwide. In this response we extend our own Christian hand in return, so that together with all other human beings we may live in peace and justice as we seek to love God and our neighbors.

A very long page that contains the coming together of apostate ministers and turning to "Chrislam". Rick Warren has denied he is a member or signed the document, but this clearly shows he did. There are many, many others listed from around the world. In these end times, this is further evidence of the apostate church, false teachers and ministers. There are many ministers from various faiths listed here. You can check the site to see if you recognize any of them.

Apostate, yes.....but also shockingly naive and stupid. I suppose a thousand years of history or so means nothing to these dupes.

Islam....is a disease on the planet Earth.

Yes...the operative word is "naive"...

Satan loves these mile wide and inch deep Christian leaders.

Luckily, the spirit-filled Christians are loaded down with the "burden" of discernment. We/they don't fall for this crap!

Their biggest problem is that liberalism is really their religion.

I was about to become ill reading the first paragraph on the link. It is mostly a bunch of groveling Christians begging for forgiveness for past misdeeds, REAL AND IMAGINED, on Muslims. Mostly issues with the Crusades and the war on terror, no never mind WHY there was a war on terror or the crusades.

http://www.thearma.org/essays/Crusades.htm

Great article about the later and cool website of a Western sword-fighting and martial arts group

Off the deep end and he can’t swim.

Lord, help him and bring him to his senses.

“core common ground between Christianity and Islam”

That doesn’t exist. The core of Christianity is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Islam denies this in total.

There may be a few common moral precepts. Islam and Christianity and completely incompatible.

We need to stop referring to the likes of Warren, Wallis, et.al., as Christian leaders. They are not Christian. I don’t know what they are, but they aren’t Christian. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.”

I am so tired of people self-describing as Christians and then go into a litany of all the things they don’t agree with that are fundamental to the Christian Faith.

We are all sinners, some saved and a lot more not. When I look at Muslims as unsaved (and apostates like Wallis), that helps me put it in a more Jesus-like perspective. Impossible to reckon with on my own, that’s why I need His Help so much.

Islam denies Jesus was anything but a man. Islam says Jesus will come back and renounce the gospel. "Common ground" my ass.

These “Christians” haven’t studied the Bible. It is crystal clear about false religions. The last words in the Bible warn of this. Islam is not compatible with Christianity. Those that signed on with this concept ignore the Bible.
