Yes. It says in John 3:18--"He that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.".

Read further: "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrong in God." (John 3:19-21)

Dear Stony, sorry, I have been out all day since I posted. Yes it does say that they are condemned alreadt, and it goes on in vs 18-21 to tell the basis for condemnation. This is a series so I plan on a more detailed explanation.

>>Jesus said that, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.(John 6:63)

>>When Jesus compared the Flesh and the Spirit,(That which is flesh is flesh, and that which is Spirit is Spirit), he wasn’t talking about the difference between sinful and Holy. Rather he uses the expression flesh to denote that which is frail, finite and earthly, versus that which is of a heavenly origin.

When Jesus says that the flesh profiteth nothing he was not talking about physical flesh and bones, but of “the flesh”, which is what we inherit from the first Adam and is what St. Paul is referring. If you say that it is physical flesh, then you are saying that Jesus flesh profiteth nothing. I do not think you would agree to that.
